Reviewed By E8940HEjbBeautiful hotel with comfy beds and spacious rooms. Shower was delightful. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beer and food is a must for any guest. Breakfast was perfect with multiple options for any diet plan. Will definitely be back.

Disappointing!
Reviewed By OnAir49997After having booked because of the reviews... Possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced in Germany. The ONLY REASON the Hotel zur Post is in business is that they are ESSENTIALLY a US Army hotel. If you are not a local or US Military, the attitude of the management is they could care less whether you are satisfied or whether you come back. To say the rooms are “dated” is a an understatement. Our €135 a night room was last renovated in the 1960‘s and had the look and feel of an army barracks. Breakfast was so mediocre we just skipped it two of three days. AND now the WiFi: Apparently in some rooms it simply doesn’t work, such as our room! We were told that our room (and others) didn’t get a signal. I pointed out that we booked the hotel because they had WiFi and and get this...I was told „the hotel has WiFi just not your room.“ I asked about another room that had WiFi and was told they were full and we wouldn’t be accommodated. All in all a very forgettable experience, poor value, and a could careless management. I cannot believe this place gets the ratings it does . I cannot recommend this hotel at half the price we paid.
