Reviewed By Suzanne HJust returned from an overnight stay here. It was just great! First a relaxing coffee and a chat with Riet & Ton with tips for restaurants etc. Then to our room, wine on display, warm, cosy and with your own front door. We walked into the village for dinner and a nightcap in a local bar and then there was many taxi service available for a return trip (€6) Good sleep then indeed...."the breakfast!" Amazing!

Superb Sunday breakfast in a lovely environment
Reviewed By Tim JJust enjoyed a lovely family Sunday breakfast - the Euro 15,50 p/p large version - in the most relaxing environment. The breakfast is a centred around local products and includes the normal warm (scrambled egg with other variations of egg cooking available on request, bacon, sausage) options in addition to the more classic meats, cheeses, muesli, fruit, bread (baked on site), juices, sweets (as in colored sugar for the children - nice touch) etc. etc.. The quality of all the food is of the highest standard and replenished on a regular basis. In addition the staff numbers ensure that service is impeccable with attentive staff constantly available without being intrusive. A nice touch is also that on arrival, and before the owner.manageress opens the buffet, you are welcomed on your table with a thermos of freshly brewed coffee and an alcohol free sparkling wine ... lovely touch again ! After breakfast ,,, no rush to leave the main building where breakfast is served ,,, you can walk around the gardens - impressive but maintained in a realistic manner - which are extremely relaxing and have ample areas to sit and simply enjoy the surroundings including areas by the pond/pool, looking out towards open fields or within the grassed area next to the out buildings. In general a lovely location, excellent breakfast and someone that can be recommended.
