Fareham (/ˈfɛərəm/ FAIR-əm) is a market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in the south east of Hampshire, England. It gives its name to the borough that comprises the town and its surrounding area. It was historically an important manufacturer of bricks (notably used to build the Royal Albert Hall, London) and a grower of strawberries. Current employment includes retail (including Fareham Shopping Centre with around 100 shops), small-scale manufacturing, and defence (with the Royal Navy's HMS Collingwood and the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory nearby).

On my own overnight on business I went to Cineworld hoping that there would be a range of restaurants to choose from and I was not disappointed with the one I opted for - Bar and BlockThe steak was superb, the chips were spitting hot (just how I like them) and the service was absolutely first class (Jess).Next time I am in this part of the world Bar + Block will be on the agenda.

Following our order being placed waited what seemed ages for our meals, 50 mins after sitting down, and venue not busy. Steaks mixed up when delivered, but weâre all tasty and well cooked, no check made if meals ok, we had to swap our own meals around. Desserts disappointing, lemon sauce applied to a white choc and raspberry cheesecake as they had run out of the correct sauce, bit of an effort to get replaced.You need to be aware also that tables of 3 or more incur a non discretionary service charge 10%.

Wildwood Whiteley is perfectly situated right next to the cinema. We have an outside dining area, a large bar area for cocktails or coffees, a Deli full of lovely items for sale, and a cool kids room with toy's, games and dvd's.

We decided to go ,at short notice for early evening mealWe hadnât booked.We decided to just have a main course.The service did seem slow ,didnât seem to be to be many waiting staff ,around .Food came out separately,Food was very greasy ,Not the bestOne of the waiting staff ,think could have been a manager ,didnât seem to really want to be there ,it showed it the way were served

Stopped here to reenergise during Xmas shopping and was not disappointed! Lovely surroundings sat in a booth, impeccable service and a delicious hot omelette cooked fresh to order. Reasonable prices but itâs the service that sets it apart from other restaurants, absolutely top notch.

This is a different experience from other restaurants. Rodizio is an all- you-can eat style of restaurant service originating in Brazil. The extensive range of meats are brought to your table on kebab style skewers and sliced as you wish. The servers (passadors) keep coming at regular intervals until you you can eat no more. The meats were excellent and there are unlimited visits to the buffet which has an enormous variety of salad options. Having been to Brazil, can confirm it was a very authentic rodizio. Good selection of mainly South American wines at reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Will certainly visit again.
