Olive-heaven. Tasted a decadent range of local olives, tapenades and jams. There is something for all ages too. Wines also available for tasting while trying out the olive products. A great stop and place to empty your bank account.

So, we had a day to spend in Riebeek Kasteel after visiting Kloovenburg or however this is spelled. Came into town and checked into The Royal Hotel just across from the wine shop. Went over to see what was going on - have heard a lot about the shop, the tastings and this Anton guy. Got to talk to both him and the staff. Told them I had this request - wanted a certain experience - wanted a fantastic Chardonnay experience - the had a talk going for about 5 minutes and then they decided - handed me a bottle and said. This is what you're looking for. Took the bottle outside and it was a blast. While sippin' this bottle we had a nice talk. It is not a café - it is a wine shop so eat your bread and olives before you go there. But do go!

Really an awesome tasting experience with friendly staff, which made it feel more like visiting good friends with great wine rather than a wine tasting. We spent almost 2 hours here and only did an olive and wine tasting but had such a good "kuier" with the gentleman running the tasting. The tasting was very affordable and we were never made to feel like we have to buy. I would definitely recommend a visit.
