The Candy Cove

A pirate and beach themed Pick 'n' Mix shop with a huge variety of sweets, slush, fudge, toys and gifts available for purchase. A must when visiting Chapel St Leonards!

Very good selection of pick n mix sweets which are well stocked, including a variety of different flavours of fudge and well stocked pre packed sweets, in current climate they are well geared up for COVID-19 and you need to sanitise then put on gloves which are supplied, then you use the equipment supplied to pick your sweets, definitely worth a visit even just for the big kids in the family ????

The Admiral Benbow

We came across this “ship” when walking along the beach. We decided to investigate and was drawn in by the hot chocolate offer; cream, marshmallows, flake AND a Tunnocks tea cake! Can’t complain about that combo! You can sit outside in the ship area but we popped inside as it was pretty breezy. The staff are lovely and extremely welcoming. The interior is just as interesting as the outside. A really run place to be.

The Grange

As a party of ten including a child and toddler we did book in advance (although this is not a requirement),we arrived to find the table set with adequate room for all and a high chair for the toddler. The bar and waiting staff were very friendly throughout the visit. The menu is very extensive with various special offers and prices to accommodate all needs. My friend and I chose to take advantage of the 'Steak offer'. We chose two rump steaks and a bottle of wine (red, white or rosy) for £20. As I like my steak very well done I am often disappointed as the chef will either cook it to shoe leather loosing the taste or flatten it to something that no longer resembles rump steak. This steak was cooked to perfection - thank you. The rest of my party all enjoyed their meals, along with the reasonable bar prices a good night was had by all. We chose to sit in the restaurant but equally there was a lot of food being served in the bar area. Dogs are allowed.

I can't fault this lovely place. Stunning views, beautifully clean and so well organised to keep us all safe due to Covid. The staff were polite and welcoming and the food was amazing. We loved it.
