Green Road Gardens

My name is Irene Kelly. My formal training includes basket making and horticultural skills, but my interest in crafts and gardening goes back to my childhood. I grew up in a household where making and creating were part of everyday life. This experience greatly enriched my life and so I enjoy the sharing and passing on of the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years. Here at Green Road Gardens we offer a variety of classes including: basket making; gardening; crafts; stone carving; building living willow structures; vegetable and herb growing; preserving; and many more. Here our tutoring style involves lots of practical and hands on training in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Bespoke classes also available for groups on request.

Having attended this class last year and loving it, had a good idea of what to expect, but this one turned out to be so good, am already looking forward to booking a place in 2020. So much to learn and never enough time, as Irene is a natural teacher, patient and encouraging and has such a wealth of knowledge. So generous too, which we soon discovered when presented with her perfect home cooking. Make sure to explore her beautiful garden as you'll see hints of some of the other classes she gives. Bring a friend, they'll thank you.

Rockin' Food Festival

After the cancellation of the festival in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be taking over the streets of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford once again in Aug Bank Holiday 2021. Wexford’s ultimate Summer festival blends the perfect mix of the things we love most about summer - delicious food, great music, and family fun.

5. Horsemen of Eire

Horsemen of Eire

Horsemen of Eire combines Alessia Pagani's experience travelling Europe as a horse trainer doing working equitation and natural horsemanship and Jack Gassmann's experience in reconstructing medieval martial arts and in film and stunts. We teach all over the world and do jousting shows in Ireland and now we are happy to be also providing the chance for visitors to teach visitors to Ireland some of the skills we love.
