We ordered pastries for our trip and enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and coffee. We arrived first thing in the morning and therefore, we were treated to fresh pastries. The Nanaimo bars were a nice treat.

I have to absolutely rave about the food at this place even though it's a touch on the pricy side. The sandwiches are divine, the soups are delectable and the cakes will have you licking your lips in glee. The service is wonderful as well as even though the place can get busy at times, they try hard to keep everything together and all the customers happy. The place itself is in a very high ceilinged funky building and it's a touch dark in there so it would be great if all the light bulbs on that high ceiling worked. Regardless, it's well worth visiting and enjoying some great food.

Wow, everything about this place is so comfortable and homey that you really think you may have gone over to your favorite Aunt's house to have her make you your favourite brekky! The service is not just friendly, it's family! The breakfast is extremely low-priced but high quality. The coffee is nothing short of exceptional, smooth, rich, and mild. Just settle down in one of the overstuffed chairs by the window and enjoy what is one of the best breakfast experiences anywhere... heck, it might even be better than Auntie's house!Wow is right! Thank you for your review...nothing better than a comfortable place to eat a hearty breakfast. :) Aunty Carrie at your service ..lol Thank you again :)

You can’t beat the central location on Commercial with what is possibly the best people watching opportunity in town! The coffee was surprisingly mellow for a chain that prefers ultradark roasts. The problem was that I asked for a special order I have enjoyed in other Serious locations and was told flat out “we don’t do that.” It wasn’t “I will check” or “I’m sorry” just a flat out rejection with no expression of courtesy. That is the last time they see me in there!
