Stopped for lunch during road trip and were delighted with the atmosphere and lunch menu. Decided on the Soup which was on specials board and were very impressed with it. Cheesy Cauliflower and Bacon soup with Turkish Bread. Very impressed with the size of the servings and the attention from the staff.

What we were looking for was a quick meal to take away and eat in our motel room; after a long day of driving in some terrible weather we didn’t feel much like being out in public. What we found however was the host of all hosts, who greeted us at the door as we were reading the menu. He didn’t push us to come in, and in fact told us that a couple of other places on the street were worth a visit. His honesty, his energy and genuine interest in us, and his menu, drew us in anyway. And what a fantastic meal we had, with our host sitting down with us at the end to show us a map and give us inside info on where to go when we hit the road again tomorrow. This place is SO worth a visit; delicious food, quirky atmosphere, dashing and gregarious host and, as promised, the best looking staff around Loved loved loved LOVED IT Hey BecWA234, I remember you too the good looking Aussie couple that felt a little bedraggled but by the time you where feed and watered you both left with a spring in your step. Thanks for your wonderful review it is much apricated and great for my team to read as it confirms that we are on the right track ,I hope the rest of your trip was fantastic cheers Syd.

Relaxed pub atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was quick to come out. Both the wife and I had fish 'n' chips. Was SO delicious! The fish was fresh and the batter was so light and crispy. I could've eaten the entire meal twice as it was so delicious (if I had the stomach room for it!). Their desserts also looked really good but we were too full from the meal to try any of it.The staff were super friendly and pleasant. Once you're done your meal, head to the till at the bar to pay. Affordable food. On our receipt was a coupon for free Subway if we enter a code online. All in all, lovely little pub. And they also have accommodation too.
