We visited last Saturday after a recommendation from friends. The risotto was recommended in particular and I was really looking forward to it. ....but the menu had changed!I mentioned this to the waitress and she told the chef....who made it for me specially!It was gorgeous and so was everything else we had - and they gave us 10% off our food even though we had forgotten the voucher. Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming, excellent service and great food (and wine âº). We are regular visitors to Doncaster Racecourse but this is the first time we have stayed outside of the main town. Edwins has been recently renovated and the design of the whole building has been well thought out. Rooms are very comfortable and well fitted out. The restaurant itself has the right blend of dishes which are all well presented and of very good quality. We can particularly recommend the breakfast.A taxi to the racecourse is approx £10 and the village itself has plenty of pubs and more eating establishments for variation.We will definitely be returning.All staff as well are very helpful, and seem to pride themselves on the quality of the service they give.Hi Bruce,Thank you for that fantastic review!
