This is our seconded time for Gluten Free Fish and chips. We arrived early but the lady took our order before they had realy opened and we got our fish and chips as soon as they had been cooked. Realy just as the shop should have opened. We were in a rush and we much appreciated the lady putting herself out for us. Thank you once again to that lady. We enjoyed them very much. Gluten free fantastic. Can't wait for my next visit.

Me and the wife popped in to Clam & Cork whilst on a food and beer tour around Doncaster centre last month and thought it was incredible. Whether you change from the standard menu or their ever changing specials board you will not be disappointed. The food is all freshly prepared in front of you and arrives in efficient time by their wonderful staff.You can tell that everyone is proud of what theyâre producing at this restaurant. The chefs and waiters are all attentive, asking if everything is okay or if youd like anything else.We ordered three dishes to share between us, all of which were outstanding and very reasonably priced for such high quality food. We were amazed when we got the bill and it was only around £30. We ordered a Thai style mussels broth with naan bread, an Indian prawn and mango salad (both on the specials board) and a portion of calamari, all of which were washed down with a couple of chilled beers. Lovely!Thank you for choosing the Clam & Cork for lunch on your Anniversary. We visited last Saturday after a recommendation from friends. The risotto was recommended in particular and I was really looking forward to it. ....but the menu had changed!I mentioned this to the waitress and she told the chef....who made it for me specially!It was gorgeous and so was everything else we had - and they gave us 10% off our food even though we had forgotten the voucher. Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming, excellent service and great food (and wine âº). We've had several takeaways from this chip shop and the fish and chips are consistently first class. Each order is cooked fresh, definitely my preference to wait a few minutes and have hot fresh food. Best in the area.

Never again after 15 years of good service ,new staff portions have shrunk service has gone to the dogs very very disappointed what a shame.Was the best in Doncaster now the worst sorry.We aim in training all our staff to have high customer service skills & all our fish is delivered fresh daily, along with other daily fresh preparations from our chefs / cooks & service staff. Came here after reading the reviews on here . Had the chicken Kiev cooked beautiful and the cheesy mash that my hubby and mother in law had was to die for .will definitely come again . The seafood that was served around us looked delicious can't wait to try it yum yum
