We visited last Sat night and the place was buzzing.The staff were amazing,pleasant,helpful,funny and nothing was too much trouble.We had a GF member in our party and there was a separate menu plus lots of suggestions from the staff.The food was great,good choice and reasonable price.Great to have a local independant place to eat where they actually care about ensuring you have a great evening out ! Going again on Wed as had such a nice time.Hi Tracey,We are so pleased you had such a good evening, and thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review of Platform Three. This airside restaurant looks great and has a relaxing atmosphere but catering truly disappoints. This is the first time that I review something at an airport but having been there a few times with mediocre food, my last visit was so bad that I thought feedback was necessary.I had the chicken Schnitzel. Although food was piping hot, the meat was like leather, there was no seasoning on the meat or the bread crumbs, the creamy garlic sauce was just a fatty beige looking something with no garlic taste and the watercress was a handful of slightly wilting dry leaves without any dressing. The âseasoned chipsâ were dry and bland. I gave it 3/5 as itâs a cool place and the staff was actually very nice. However, we wonât be back unless for a drink only.Hi Travellerd2438ym, we can assure you that we do not find this type of behavior acceptable, and we would like to address the situation you have described.
