Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Bottrop. Bottrop (German pronunciation: [ˈbɔtʁɔp] ( listen)) is a city in west central Germany, on the Rhine-Herne Canal, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Located in the Ruhr industrial area, Bottrop adjoins Essen, Oberhausen, Gladbeck and Dorsten. The city had been a coal-mining and rail center and contains factories producing coal-tar derivatives, chemicals, textiles, and machinery. Bottrop grew as a mining center beginning in the 1860s, was chartered as a city in 1921, and bombed during the Oil Campaign of World War II. In 1975 it unified with the neighbour communities of Gladbeck and Kirchhellen, but Gladbeck left it in 1976, leading to Kirchhellen becoming a district of Bottrop as Bottrop-Kirchhellen.

Eine Kneipe mit Biergarten an der nahegelegenen A2.Schon vor Ca 40 Jahren besuchten wir dieses Haus . Es ging mal rauf und mal runter. Früher konnte man auch zu Pferd ein Bier und Getränk dort bekommen.Heute ist es eine kultkneipe mit diversen Konzerten und aufstrebenden Bands. Das angebotene essen und die Getränke sind leicht Irish angehaucht , meist sehr lecker und schnell serviert.Jetzt im Sommer zur EM werden die Deutschlandspiele dort gezeigt. Ob man bei dem autobahnlärm etwas hört ist zweifelhaft , aber die athmosphäre ist doch auch was .....oder ?Ein Ziel welches man einfach mal besucht haben muss!Entweder man liebt es, oder man hasst es.Wir kehren hier immer wieder gerne ein .Viel Spaà auf ein gezapften Guinness.

Besonders zu empfehlen ist die durch einen Kamin und Strahler geheizte Terrasse, die auch bei kühlerer Witterung das Sitzen auf einer Terrasse ermöglicht. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen und moderate Preise runden das Bild ab.
