Reviews on Peruvian food in Quito, Pichincha Province, Ecuador. With a rich pre-Colombian history, Ecuador's capital was founded on the ruins of an Incan city but offers everything a modern traveler might need. It remains the least-altered historic center in Latin America and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Quito’s important sites include baroque gems like San Francisco and Santo Domingo monasteries, as well as La Compañía church and college. This huge city sprawls across a breathtaking Andean valley surrounded by volcanic peaks.

The restaurant is quite fancy but the staff is quite relaxed. The combination of the Chinese and Ecuadorian food is a success! We really enjoyed all the different dishes we had.Highly advised to make a reservation to ensure you have a table as it is very popular. Thanks for your opinion, Regards.Osaka Quito

Awful service, cold food, 1h40 between appetizers and entree, they don't have the desert ordered, no maki's all you can eat as promised... They actually ruined our New year's Eve, never ever Hanzo anymore...

If you want to try this typical ecuadorian dish, but you don't feel like visiting any folkloric restaurants around la Mitad del Mundo or Sangolqui, you should come to La Gloria.Besides being one of the best restaurants in Quito, its menu also features a "Patitas de Cuy" (guinea pig legs). I know it sounds horrible, but you have to try them. There are no words to explain this experience!
