I love Italian Cuisine. Porto Vino in downtown Szekesfehervar offers all that has the charm and flavour of amazing Italian food at very affordable prices. Backed by freshness and excellent service, I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone who appreciates alternatives to Hungarian food (not that there's anything wrong with Hungarian food). Check it out kids!

I was here twice in a few nights because the food is mostly very good. Well prepared and well cooked and the dishes we had were generally tasty. For some reason the choice of wines was very limited but I think this might have been me not understanding. The layout o the place is nice but for some reason there are several TV showing sports as if the place was a bar; they were a distraction that detracted from the atmosphere and since nobody was watching them by choice, I was not sure why they had them. Service is friendly but very slow â on one night it was OK but the next night a meal where 5 people only had main courses and no other courses still took 2 hours due to waiting to order, waiting to get, waiting to order coffee, waiting to get coffee and then waiting to pay â painfully slow even if the server himself was really nice.

A family run French-styled cafe with breakfast, bakery items, coffees, ice creams, Hungarian beer specialties and lots of yummy cakes (for the lactose/paleo/gluten dieters too). Cool music is always on to set the ambiance. They have a small garden too where one can enjoy a snack and coffee while the children can play around.Open every day till 8pm. Prices are reasonable, less then in the city.
