We dropped in for an early dinner on a Saturday in mid-May. The staff were very nice, but not very attentive, the restaurant was busy with families at the time we entered. I ordered a glass of prosecco and we ordered the potatoe skins to start and my partner ordered the beef burger and I had Jumbo Prawn's pil pil. The food was nice but average and I thought it was overpriced the burger was â¬15:50, the prawns were â¬17, which was overpriced for a few prawns I received. I think these are city prices jumping on the Malahide location price wagon. I don't think we'll be back as there are nicer restaurants in Malahide to choose from.

First time in Gibneys after many visits to Malahide. Good atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food. My wife said the steak was some of the best that she had ever had when eating out.

I have been frequenting this chipper for years and the food is fab (especially after a night of drinking in the pubs of Malahide!). I would especially reccomend the fish box,their spice burgers and the fried chicken,which is the best I have ever had.
