Many thanks to Bernd und Regina for a wonderful meal. You two are the perfect team and are both kind and professional. The food was of good quality and your hospitality outstanding. A great experience of fine german/french cuisine you doesn't expect in a small village like Delitzsch. One little hint...not to many flowerpower on the plate. Besides that....worth coming back to!

We found this place by accident as we were looking for a day out around Leipzig. The restaurant is on a beautiful lake and part of a complex of activities (watersports, camping, walking, kite surfing etc). I can not praise this place highly enough, the staff were so friendly, the food was excellent and very good value, the toilets were the best I have been in. We stayed over 3 hours.The terrace is on a sandy beach where kids can play in the water while the parents sip cappuccinos. The building is beautiful and in an amazing condition. We will definitely return next time we visit Leipzig. This place is also very close the airport, so a good place to stop of on the way there.

We had a great time at this restaurant where the 4 of us had a great meal while listening to the nice waiter telling us about his trip to find agate stones in Brazil. The ambiance is also very easygoing and contributes to feeling good. If we pass by, we will sure eat again at this Alte Gaststube.

We enjoyed an excellent meal in this cosy little restaurant which had a log fire (very welcome on chilly night). The menus are all in German but staff were very helpful about translating. They also recommended a very good French red wine to complement the food. Our main was duck which was incredibly tasty and tender. Great experience all round. They even advised us the best route to walk home!
