The top! I wonder why Slovakia is studded with all that 'hello, we have hundreds of meals on the menu' restaurants, when all you need is this. Local, Fresh, and tasty. The menu is written only on the chalk board, which means only few meals to choose from.At the time of our visit it meant one starter and one soup, two main meals and dessert, plus one burger menu. We tried everything except the burger. and it was super tasty and super satisfying. We had tempura zucchini fritters with quacamole as a starter ( enough big to replace soup), lentil soup with sausages, sea bream with mashed potatoes and beef shunk with cauliflower and some chickpeas stew and tiramisu as a dessert.Plus, waiter was really attentive and nice. he asked about a child seat and brought it for us (which we usually have to ask for in Slovakia), he brought a small cutlery for our baby girl, never left an empty plate in front of us and etc. I highly recommend this place. If you are not that kind of eater that needs or something fried or some meat with universal brown sauce you will definitely enjoy this place.

If you want to have a coffee next to a beautiful small lake, with green grass and a big playground, then this is the place for you.Coffee and service is good, variety of drinks and cocktails is huge. No cakes, or food served, so this is NOT a restaurant.

My family are regular visitors to Vintage Bistro, my wife and daughter know the owner but this will not save the restaurant from a savage blunt review.We went today about 12.30 pm for a family meal. Sat outside on the terrace, it was only half occupied so hard to work out why the soups took about 30 minutes to arrive. I understand that it was probably my mistake for ordering the BBQ Pork ribs as they must have gone out to buy the ribs from a farm!!! Daughter enquired from the less than concerned waitress what had happened to my BBQ Ribs at about the hour mark. She confirmed that the order was under way. By now my wife and daughter had eaten their salad main meal so were ready to go. Grandson wanted to go to the Funfair as it was Town Fair weekend. We enquired again at the 80 minute mark and was told by the excuse for a waitress that it would still be another 10 minutes. At this stage I had had enough so we got up and paid for the food and drinks we had consumed. We cancelled the order for the never ending BBQ Ribs.I asked to speak to the manager of the day and was introduced to a young man. I congratulated him on the best food in town but the WORST service in Europe. He did not try and defend the chaos, nor did he offer to try and make amends. He watched in silence as we departed. They have been in the past one of the top restaurants in the region. Excellent food, well prepared with a changing menu, not the same old choice as per most local restaurants. How can it take 30 minutes to deliver soup to the guest. How can it take 80 minutes NOT to serve the main dish ordered in a half empty restaurant. I will be happy to sit and chat through the problems with the owner as this level of service will kill the effort he has made to make it a top restaurant. The manger needs retraining or probably better to remove him as he had no idea of customer service. One of the waitresses who attended our table is in the wrong job, she would be better suited to some factory work not requiring customer facing skills, something she clearly lacked.A VERY BIG disappointment that I feel obliged to bring to the owners attention.You need to get it sorted or loose the key wealthy customer base that keeps this restaurant in business. It will take a lot to get me to go back again.
