We went to meet up with friends. We checked out the country dancing upstairs..... My daughters favorite part. We had the Calzones. The filling was very good, bit they were very soggy and doughy on the bottom. My daughters had pretzels. They didn't care too much for them at all. Beware of the poppers! Especially if you cannot eat spicy food! There is one that they say that is not spicy, but was loaded with Cayenne pepper! It was extremely spicy. Nice place to just kick back and have drinks with friends.

Fantastic choice of local beers. Very friendly staff. Birrone has a great and rightly deserved reputation with the locals. If you want to drink beer it's the only place to go.

I was lucky enough to be shown this place by a colleague whilst visiting Italy on business. He said they were known for their salads and he wasn't wrong. I had a chicken salad and it was huge. Beautifully presented with chicken, olive oil and Italian bread. I've been trying to find an Italian restaurant in England that can compete but so far have failed to find one. I would recommend this place to anyone. Service was also superb.

The guy who runs this is so hospitable, speaks great English and the pizzas are the best that I have ever had, even better than Brooklyn. But try the bruschetta also (or in addition to). The beers are great and I had an English Bitter that was first rate. I think the beers here were better than any I had in Germany or Austria! It is quite easy to find once you know where! Its at the Country Club Impianti Sportivi - this is important as there are no signs for it until you are at the Country Club!
