We were taken there recently for a business lunch by our Italian hosts and we certainly had a splendid afternoon . Just a note of caution : they don't have English menu's and the staff don't speak the best English here which isn't true for most places in Italia. The interiors are rustic, traditional and artistic and set the tone for the meal . The quality of the food was fantastic , I would highly recommend the Tagiatelle with lobster as an appetizer followed by the Sea bass and the desert is from the buffet dessert counter .You may need a car or taxi to get here as its set a bit deeper in the small town and away from he main streets .Highly recommended !!

Il Querini da Zemin is an elegant restaurant located in Vicenza, hosted by Da Porto Hotel & Residence, a few km far from the city center, easily reachable from the highway exit of Vicenza Ovest. A refined and high level dining experience is guaranteed by
We had dinner here last night. We went for the meat tasting menu at 45 euros a head. For this we got water, a selection of starters, two types of pasta, two types of main and one pudding and coffee. But what we found great was that the price also included a glass of well chosen wine to match each course. Including a welcome glass of Prossecco. The decor has the feel of a holiday camp and you half expect after the plates had been cleared to have a game of bingo. But the food was exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. We shall definitely return.

The place is fantastic. Just attached to the Basilica Palladian, a stunning monument that releases a majestic atmosphere of the Vicenza important past. But the contrast with the very poor service of the restaurant destroyed the good sensations. I was there with international business guests and it was very hard to sustain the reliability and quality of our company service after choosing such a disorganized and not friendly place.Food was below average as well. The pizzas were not cooked enough, probably because they messed up their backing oven organization...

This is a lovely little restaurant. From the street you only see a few tables but as you are ushered inside there is a lovely little court yard.Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. We started with a Caprese Salad which was very good. For our meals we had ravioli with a salmon sauce and eggplant parmigiana. Both dishes were very good. The ravioli was a little on the rich side but delicious. Our meal was ended with complementary limoncello.

Solid southern Italian food, somewhat of a rarity in Vicenza. Not expensive at all and lots of fish choices. Worth a try.

I bought a groupon to use at this location. Initially it was difficult to find. Both myself and my friend were very impressed with the décor - old cameras, bottles and very clean! There was little brown sacks with bread on the table - it had some of the best bread I've had in Italy! Very soft - with sea salt and rosemary. The only problem is - we filled up on it! With the groupon we received an antipasta starter with meat, fried zucchini and rice salad. We also received a liter of wine and we chose robesello and it was amazing! The main course was grillata mista - a huge steak, ribs, and a few skewers with veggies and meat. We would have liked the steak cooked more and the ribs needed seasoning or barbecue sauce. I will be ordering bread - they said give them a day before. It would have cost 66 euro for 2 and that would have been a bit pricey. Everyone spoke great English and the dessert was cake with peaches - the outside was little overdone and inside under done.

Beautiful restaurant inside an old mill from 1520 with amazing park of fruit trees and botanical garden.Typical Vicenza's dishes but also freshwater fish and many dishes with herbs and vegetables from our kitchen garden. We have small and romantic dining r
Traveling around Vicenza to see the villas of 16c architect Andrea Palladio, this charming restaurant inside of a former mill, has been a destination for me for 35 years.....Outside of the small village of Caldogno in a grove of trees, Trattoria Molin Vecio serves typical Veneto cuisine, seasonally adjusted. Pastas, Ristottos, Meats, Fishes and delicious salads.
