Reviews on American food in Gouda, South Holland Province, The Netherlands. Lying about 15 miles northeast of Rotterdam, Gouda is most famous for its eponymous cheese. One of its most prized attractions, De Waag on the town square, was once a weighing house for cheese traders and now features an exhibit detailing the entire cheese making process. Also on the square is the 15th-century town hall, one of the oldest in the Netherlands. On Thursday mornings during the summer, the town’s Markt turns back into a traditional cheese market, something not to be missed.

Stopped in on our way out of Gouda after a short day trip. We wanted a coffee and sweet treat. Apparently there are a few of these shops throughout Holland. We had a pleasant time and our coffee and food were tasty. We enjoyed our latte's and cappuccino as well as some banana bread. It was gluten/sugar free but very very tasty. There seem to be a lot of healthy items on the menu so I am eager to visit again for a full meal. I would definitely try out this place a few more times. Stop in and give them a try....at least grab a coffee and a piece of the yummy banana bread. The cranberries give it just the right amount of sweetness.

Brasserie Copper is ontstaan door mensen met een grote passie voor horeca. Naast een grote liefde voor eten en drinken, draait het ons uiteindelijk om de gast. Wij bieden onze gast service met een lach, beleving en een echt avondje uit! Een all-day restau
Very cool brasserie, nicely decorated in an industrial setting, with wooden floor and tables. The menu is very good and the food is of high quality, but at reasonable prices. Check out their special grill items! Also, the winelist is great, with a few surprising wines... service is excellent, very friendly and attentive ladies. This is the place to eat or sip a glass of beer or wine in Gouda!
Where to eat French food in Gouda: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I've been here for lunch with my mom.First good point: menu is available in dutch and english, but if you aak the guys they can look for italian, spanish and french menus. We took two bagels (I don't remember which ones, but it doesn't matter, every bagel is so good) and a bottle of water, for a total of 17.60 euros. If you can, avoid water and prefer something more ingeresting to drink...water is very expensive compared to other drinks. The girls are very nice and kind.Personally, I love the atmosphere of this place!P.s. I didn't know, now you can find here also grasshoppers and others!

Gouda's lunchroom with the best vibe. Real Gouda cheese melted on bread, or American Pancakes & Waffles with great toppings.
