I had heard many good reviews of Thunder road and when the opportunity came for a short road trip with the family to the area, I told them all we would have lunch here. not really sure what to expect, they were all suspicious. Once we arrived, everyone was smiling. This is a great restaurant with a good Route 66 theme to it and a lot of space indoors and some good outdoor tables. The decor is great for the theme and the menu has a good selection. however the portions are huge, even the small pizza would be classed as a large in most places, so be careful. Great portions, great taste and great prices. this place has to b tried if you are passing by, you will not regret it.Ciao Andy, thanks a million for your kind review! The Safi restaurant is such a totally enjoyable restaurant to enjoy a great dinner while staying or visiting the Ajman Saray Resort. Chef Henry was extremely helpful and extremely professional in his foods presentation and scrumptious taste.The Safi is only open for dinner and you have the choice of indoor seating or a nice outdoor terrace seating. The first night we enjoyed an indoor table and the following night we enjoyed a great table outside. Their menu is very comprehensive and is dominated by a wide selection of meat entrees and several very nice seafood items. Their appetizers were all very, very delicious and all had a great presentation. What I especially enjoyed was the selection of âside dishesâ with each steak or seafood dish.They also had a nice yet small appetizer salad bar in which they had cheeses; olives; pickles and many other appetizers to sample. A very nice touchâ¦The service was extremely professional and Chef Henry was available to answer any question we may have had each night. So if you are looking in having a delicious dinner while you are in the UAE you must try the Safi restaurantâ¦you will not be disappointedâ¦Trust meâ¦

An added value to Ajman restaurants map. Sort of a place where you expect to be in a posh area in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Although the concept of the area is supposed to be for fast food and informal dining but the ambience, decor and menu are certainly fit in to casual dining. Service is good, team is very hospitable and friendly.We ordered 2 T-bone steaks, 1 starter and 2 drinks and they gave us an extra starter as a complimentary.Steaks are very well cooked as requested (medium well), and it was simply delicious.Definitely we will be back to try the burgers.Having said that, itâs way overpriced with the average bill for two person is 200.00 dirhams for dinner in a shipping container in remote area in Ajman city. P.S:Our bill was 360.00 dirhams
