Not on the high street, but a brilliant little gem of a place serving a range of food styles including traditional Hungarian. A warm welcome, very good service and really great food. We wnet twice, the second time because the picky teen wanted to have his birthday dinner there, even through we had to travel an hour from the center of Budapest. I had the wild boar stew both times - excellent - and others had steak (pronounced the best ever) and the goulash soup ("amazing"). Definitely worth bypassing the tourist traps.Dear Quadrantus,Thank you, we appreciate all feedback and try to learn from it. This restaurant offers a broad selection of mostly Hungarian dishes, including soups, stews, fish, pork, veal, turkey and game as well as an excellent selection of fish soups. The list of desserts is quite exciting ant the prices are moderate. It is a few blocks north of town, right on the Danube, which offers good views of the river.
