We had fish and chips on our first night visiting the area and were not disappointed.The staff serving the takeout food were both very friendly and chatty.We ordered fish and chips and curry sauce there is a choice between homemade and chip shop curry sauce. We were given a few chips and the homemade sauce to try. It really was very good sauce.The portions were very good and piping hot.They only take cash but no problem for us there is a cash point at the co-op just along the road.Will definitely use again and would definitely recommend

I would highly recommend trying the naan bread wraps filled with a curry of your choice... the 'small ones' are a foot long!!!! Chicken pakora and samosa are better than at Raj

Waited 45 mins for 2 fish and chips. They had run out of peas, forks and bags!! Shop was hardly full and 2 customers left because they were sick of waiting. The man frying knew what he was doing but was obviously frustrated with the lack of ability of the woman doing the till. When the food eventually came, there was a huge difference in the portion size!! Chips were floppy and greasy and wet! Quite unpleasant.. should have gone to Arnside Chippy !
