It was such a pleasure choosing het Volle Bord for a dinner while in Zeist. Plenty of interest in the decor to look at, great atmosphere, and fantastic mains and dessert menus. Service was personal, with the proprietors in attendance, helping with full descriptions of dishes (including the amazing homemade desserts). I had fabulous rabbit (saté van de haas) which came with so many beautifully thought out accompaniments (much of which wasn't even mentioned on the menu). Wife and sister-in-law had something vegetarian that was brilliant - a kind of tart/quiche, again with loads of amazing little extras on the plate. Good beer selection. This was such a memorable experience I have wanted to return ever since... waiting for the day!

Great restaurant with an even greater reputation.Lovely staff, very smart and attentive.Food was divine and the accompanying wines too.Glad they provide taxi service home!It's expensive but excellent.For special occasions very worth it.

The chicken wings were way overpriced (17â¬) and rather unimpressive. There was no truffle in the truffle risotto at all. Donât think the price was right.
