We like Jamaican food, so gave this place a try. Paying first for a meal always makes me wary. After forty-five minutes waiting, with at least one other table served, we asked where is our food? It then appeared within minutes, so what had happened? This was a quiet night too. A server we'd not seen explained "The order was mislaid and we're busy with delivery orders". Pathetic. The food was OK, if over-priced and the rum punch had no rum in.A shame and I doubt we will return.Hi David,Sorry for the long wait! The rum punch is not a very strong cocktail - 5% ABV as written on the menu, however, it does have Admiral's Old J rum in it. We came here for dinner as itâs just around the corner from the Premier Inn we were staying at. Our party of 5 had no real experience of Caribbean food but the restaurant looked so colourful and welcoming we decided to go in.We all chose different dishes, all quite spicy but we all loved what we ordered. Clean plates all round!The staff are welcoming and friendly and happy to answer our questions about the menu.The place itself is fascinating, beautifully decorated and we all agreed it was a fun place to eat in. Great reggae music too.The toilets are immaculate and fresh, I loved the sinks in there so took a photo of them as theyâre so unusual.Hi AliCat062,Thank you for the fantastic review! Great goat curry generous portion size and so tasty my friend had salted fish ackee and thoroughly enjoyed it, for those who have been to the popular Caribbean chain please try here as the food is really authentic and portions are generous & prices are good value for the quality of the dishes they taste like proper home cooked food I have never been disappointed and of course you have the great atmosphere & amazing environment that makes you feel like you are on holiday!
