This restaurant is in a fabulous location right by the Lake and comes complete with its own resident extremely fat and contented cat! The menu is pretty extensive and comes in both English and Lithuanian with good options for both vegetarians and those who like me need gluten free food. I was surprised given the fact that it was mid July how quiet the restaurant was - apart from a large tour group I was the only other person there. I chose the Lithuanian fish stew, which came with small pieces of salmon and something called silver dollar fish which I was not familiar with. It was cooked in a delicious cream sauce with a large serving of rice and came with a large and refreshing local beer, which was just the job. Service was good, the view was wonderful and the bill was reasonable, which is really all you can ask for.

Restaurant is in an excellent location right infron of Trakai Castle and the plants there make it a great photo snap shot as if the Castle is in a frame. The ice cream is delicious the strawberry is very tasty and the vanilla very creamy. The service needs to be a little more friendly.
