We have been running this tour since 2015 and it is always a big hit. Hosting the tour in Katong allows guests to get out of the usual city and tourist spots. Katong has a laid back atmosphere which is helped by the cool sea breeze and the brightly painted houses. On our private tour we will go at a slower pace. Smaller groups allow us to have more interaction with the chefs and hawkers along the way. We often stop to chat to our local food heroes who love telling their stories and having their pictures taken. We want to connect you to the real local food and way of life and Katong is a great spot to do this. You'll enjoy dishes from different ethnic communities. Malay, Indonesian, Eurasian, Chinese and of course Peranakan. We'll also be visiting our Michelin recognised Katong Laksa shop along the way. As the tour is private we can order dishes depending on your preference and take in the experience at your own pace.

Inclusions: Food tasting, Local guide, Professional guide, Bottled water, Snacks, Private experience. Just your group.

Exclusions: Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase), Gratuities

One of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. We have lived in Singapore for many years, but discovered many delicious new dishes and so much history. Highly recommended!
