At El Retorno Resort we have two cabins: for 6 and 10 people. The cabins are european green home style. There is grass on top of the roof. They are fully equipped. If the person wants to cook in there, we have all the necessary stuff in the kitchen, eventhough we have at place BJ's Menu Restaurant. Chef BJ from Puerto Rico is the owner and he prepares gourmet international plates. This place is all sorrounded by nature, ideal for relaxation. We breathe pure air, and here you can get away from the noisy city. Exotic birds come to visit us, and the scenery is just beautiful!

Reviewed By kelbetancurThis private cabana resort was amazing. The rooms were clean and bathrooms had toiletries very cabin modern feel. Plenty of towels and blankets. Theres a restaurant inside the villa called BJS owned by the resort he is a superb chef the food is top notch. We rented out both cabanas for my friends and family that were coming from the U.S to celebrate our wedding and everyone had a blast. Blanca and Bj were super attentive and the location is safe. I can't say it enough we have found our home away from home and will always stay here while we visit Guatape again.

Reviewed By Lu_AlemanWe had a great time in Villa Pepita Real. Everything was well organized and clean. The shower was amazing (it lights up when the water is cold/warm/hot) and the bed super comfy! The villa is well located and very close to the Plaza Mayor. Rosita and Carlos are amazing hosts, they make you feel like you are home. They gave us suggestions for where to eat and were always on call when we needed to move our car in and out the property. WiFi is not the best. I would stay here again and I recommend this hotel to anybody that is visiting Villa de Leyva.

An open and private place during COVID times
Reviewed By Victoria OWith the COVID restrictions, the hotel is only allowed to book out the whole hotel to a single group of travellers, meaning that it was a perfect getaway for 9 friends to enjoy over Christmas (and at an amazing price)! This rule meant we had the whole hotel to ourselves and with the open dining area, seating area outside the rooms and pool area, we had plenty of places to ensure distancing and relax. There was no food included, but we were given full use of the facilities, including the kitchen and washing machines. Each room has a comfortable bed, safe, AC unit, soap/shampoo/ towels and TV. There are no outside windows in the rooms but we found the rooms to be quier- we had one close to the pool and didn't hear our friends at all!) We liked that the hotel is outside of the main town as it was quiet- however it is worth having some transport as it was a 20 minute walk to a supermarket and 30 mins to the nearest beach (we hired golf carts so it was super easy). The owners were super friendly and helpful giving us advice on the local area. Be aware that there are a number of establishments called 'Mare mare' and that taxi drivers are not familiar with this one so be sure to show them the address!

Really nice place to stay
Reviewed By Andrea VIt's a nice and quiet place to stay for a couple of days. The service is really good, they are very kind and helpful, especially Elena the owner. I highly recommend this place for couples who want to rest and enjoy the traditional countryside houses in Armenia.

Su locación es maravillosa cerca a los parques, la conexión con la naturaleza y la paz que se siente es incomparable, muyyy recomendado I visited Villa Mariana and I loved it, I would return many many times, I was with my dad enjoying a weekend of sun, swimming pool, and rest. Its location is wonderful close to the parks, the connection with nature and the peace that you feel is incomparable, highly recommended

A Wonderful Place to Stay in Socorro
Reviewed By 712kerimI stayed here for 8 nights an absolutely loved my stay! This charming colonial-style hotel has great character and is impeccably clean. All of the rooms vary in size and configuration on three levels. The upper level rooms have more light than the lower ones, so be clear in the kind of room you would like. There’s plenty of outdoor space including a nice little pool which is ideal for the hot days. The hotel staff are all super friendly and helpful including the lovely owners. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable in my stay. A hot breakfast is served each day with a smile. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel.

Reviewed By ea316I arrived at the hotel and to start with it's out of town and they don't have any room service or any tips of food , so basically u need to get to town to be able to eat something , Manager very rude and unhelpful , they have house keepers , not a receptionist or trained hotel staff , the rooms were not very clean! I had to go to a different hotel and refused to stay there , still got charged and no refund given despite failing to provide what it says on the page were I booked it . Signs to get to the hotel are very small and you could get lost very easily . Would not recommend it and would def won't go back !

Amazing location for peace, quiet and wildlife!
Reviewed By Victoria OWe spent a wonderful week at Hacienda Venecia. Both the Coffee Lodge and Farm House offer clean and comfortable rooms with easy access to green spaces and open areas for sitting. We spent hours reading books and playing games, while watching nature around us. There are soooo many birds to observe in and around the farm and both houses have binoculars and identification kits you can use- we saw at least 50 different species in the week we stayed! The Farm house has a super veranda and a muster of peacocks! Both properties have a swimming pool. There is wifi in the main eating area but it didn't reach to the rear sitting area- we didn't mind, it was nice to disconnect!! Meals are communal. The wonderful staff prepare a set menu and you let them know if you will eat the day before. Everything we ate was delicious and there was sooo much food we were always stuffed! They kindly prepared a cake for my husband's birthday too :) The coffee is free!!! For other drinks (including alcohol) and snacks, they have an honesty bar. The properties are set within a huge coffee farm. The owners have produced a clear map of clearly marked hiking routes, some easier and some more steep! They also offer highly engaging and informative workshops on coffee and chocolate which are worth doing. They organized transport to and from the airport (about 30 minutes away) and helped us organize a taxi to Santa Rosa de Cabal (thermal baths) which was about an hour away. We can't wait to go back!!
