Located in and around the rivers and hills of Dumfries and Galloway in beautiful Moffat. You’ll see me pictured with our “business plan on a stick” which is all currently in the works. For now, you can stay in our Shepherds Hut, buy a scrumptious wood fired pizza, book onto a kayaking course, hire a mountain bike, take a guided hike in the hills around Moffat and enjoy a good coffee at base.

We have a large hire fleet to cater for all ages and styles of cycling from bike seats and trailers for the wee ones to electric bikes for those who like to take things a little easier. Dumfries Art Trail

Dumfries Art Trail is a walking route through the town centre linking artists, galleries and craft houses. On the tour you will see a variety of art and craft, mostly locally produced. Galleries and craft shops are open year round and you can arrange to see artist's studios on request. Maps are available to download from the DART website or collect from Visit Scotland and many other venues. Opening hours vary according to venue. Most venues are open Wednesday - Saturday, with some open Monday and Tuesday as well. Artist's studios are open by appointment and contact details of each are available via our website or on the trail map.
