It´s cheap to go there from vitória city by taxi or uber, we can also catch a bus to Vila Velha bus terminal which is not far away from the entrance. At the entrance there are vans to take us uphill ( R$4,00 round trip ) or for those who like walking just go on foot. No entrance fees and we can walk inside the church and take pictures all around the place. We can see all Vitória bay and the city of Vila Velha.

Great views of Vitória and Vila Velha where you can take wonderfull fotos. There is a trail for walking and biking that leads to the top where people jump in paragliders. Unfortunately there is no tutistic structure as bars and security. I sugest You go only in groups and in the early morning. There are some risks if You go alone or in times whithout other persons walking by. But it is worth the effort.

It´s not a big museum, not much to see in it. There is an old wagon, history of local railway and a very nice coffee shop. What impressed me most was the beautiful view of Vitoria bay.

Despite being far from downtown this museum is worth it! It can explain in a few parts the railway history of Espírito Santo.
In front there is a very well preserved old locomotive.
There is also an interactive model that symbolizes the local topography and as are train travel nowadays .
I recommend after the visit to the museum go to the dining car and indulge in a creamy cappuccino!

Costa Beach

This is the main beach of Vila Velha. And the best. Yellowich sands. Sports. Support of restaurants, Pharmacy, bars, etc. There are nice hotels by Praia da Costa wich is also the name of the neighborhood around. Eat some shrimp at the restaurante Atlântica or other near it. The local traditional dish is called "muqueca" that is fish. Prefer the fish "badejo" with White Meat. If You go with Kids, stay at the beggining of Praia da Costa, bars the large rocks where the ocean is calm and they can swimm whithout worries. Have fun!

It is a small church that sits on a neighborhood located in the old "Prainha" square. Although little visited is an easy place to go, it is located just on the descent of the "Convento da Penha".
If you're already in the "Convento da Penha" walk more few minutes to visit this beautiful and historic place!

It almost the same as in Praia da Costa, but you have less people but more beautiful one's. In the last point, in front of Rua Jair de Andrade, you can see some turtles. The water is almost always clean but sometimes the waves can be kinda strong, so take care. There are lots of people playing beach volleyball, beach soccer, frescobol and everything.. Try Picolé da Ajelso! It's the best popsicle ever (I love kiwi)..

Young children really loves the place. There are horses to ride and a lot of domestic animals to see. The restaurant serves a really delicious food, although a very ordinary one.
