Clean beach with soft white sand. Water is much warmer than other parts of the Cape as the water is a mix of the Indian and Atlantic oceans. Better for padlersz swimmers and body boarders. Not the best for surfers. Better for beginner surfers.

Vergelegen - no ordinary Estate. Founded on 1 February 1700, Vergelegen (meaning "situated far away"), has been under the ownership of some of the world's great explorers and visionaries, each of whom, in their own way, have helped shape Vergelegen to what it is today: a world-class Estate. With its world renowned handcrafted wines, history spanning over 300 years, heritage, exquisite Gardens and refined cuisine, it comes as no surprise that Vergelegen continues to be the choice of the discerning visitor seeking a total sensory experience. For this reason, the Estate has borne witness to many visits of heads of state and celebrities from all over the world. Think of Vergelegen to spend quality time on your own, with your family and friends or business associates - wine tasting centre and cellar tours, Camphors at Vergelegen Signature Restaurant, Stables at Vergelegen Bistro Restaurant and the Picnic, are only a few of a myriad of enjoyable activities at Vergelegen. We invite you to experience the world of Vergelegen first-hand.
I visited Vergelegen for a tasting and was very impressed! The wine tasting was very informative and the service was great! The Gardens are absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit - this is most certainly a farm you could spend an entire day at! Cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday!

We had passed the Mukda Thai Spa several times during this visit to Gordon's Bay, one day we decided to visit as we felt like some relaxation. The gate man was very helpful and encouraged us to have our treat that day. As we entered we were welcomed as if we were royalty, the reception staff were so very helpful as we decided to have a reflexology session. This was so very relaxing as our feet was worked on we both nodded off for a wee spell.
At the conclusion we were advised that we would benefit from a further visit for a full herbal and hot oil massage.
Due to the relaxing peaceful setting and superior treatment we had just enjoyed we decided to book for a further session.
Our second visit was every bit as enjoyable as the first and we were treated equally as well as the first time. It is a truly relaxing experience and I would advise any one needing / wanting some TLC to visit the Mukda Thai Spa

Last week we spent a few hours visiting this magnificent estate. The Gardens were recently re-landscaped. They are beautiful. Occasional sculptures are strategically placed. The art galleries offer beautiful work. We have previously visited the coffee shop & restaurant. This time we popped in for a wine tasting. The tasting was professionally conducted & the wines outstanding.

Rentabicycle is very reliable service of high quality. Personnel was trustworthy and he even refunded my costs for the locker that I had to buy in addition. In five days I've made 400 km around Cape Town with no problems. This way of travelling around is the best way to explore the Cape Peninsula.

Wateroworld Strand is a family water park situated on Beach rd, Strand. We offer a variety of water-slides for all ages, great playground equipment and a cafe that serves outstanding coffee’s and pizza’s. For more info please visit our website www.waterslides.co.za
This Water Park has a variety of slides and therefore caters for all ages. The smaller kids have a double small-ish (but still thrilling for little ones) water slide, paddling pool and many dry play jungle gyms, zip-line, sand soccer. Life jackets are available for little kids with strict policy of life jackets if the kids go on the bigger slides with older children / adults. Many active and friendly life-guards on duty at big and little pools. They keep control and have whistles to call out any unruly / dangerous behaviour. One high super tube and another high and steep slide suitable for adults (loads of fun!!!) Jacuzzi also available for adults only. Plenty of Seating inside a tented area or outside, so it did not feel crowded even though it was quite busy. Quick and friendly kiosk staff. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Toilet areas cleaned frequently.

Hiking, camping and bird watching are the top attractions in this majestic wildlife sanctuary nestled on the lower slopes of Helderberg Mountain. O
We didnt go hiking but rather enjoyed Boxing Day under the trees in the park. It had a wonderful family driven atmosphere with clean facilities.

Alpha Dive Centre, has a dedicated staff who are always willing to assist where they can. The instructors are capable and encouraging. The shop is well organized and every underwater enthusiasts dream destination. The intoxicating smell of neoprene and the friendly smiles of staff make it a great place to stop by for a chat. A big thank you to Ettienne Raal, Damon Hopwood and Warrick Hopwood for their great service.

Turn off the Sir Lowry's Pass Village Road and enter the Waterkloof gates, and a lane of trees beckon towards the hills, where a total sensory experience awaits. The road meanders through an Amphitheatre flanked by reclaimed fynbos and immaculately kept vineyards, before arriving at our state-of-the-art cellar. A sign welcomes you to our tasting lounge. Stop for awhile outside and breathe deeply. Fill your soul with the views over the surrounding Schaapenberg Hills and the waters of False Bay down below. Now enter the main area, designed to hold you in awe, showcasing the sincere, clean essence of our Old World-style wines. Tall glass walls allow views of both the working cellar and the farm below, while raw concrete columns frame artworks from well-known South African artists.
I follow and visit the top restaurants and wine farms in SA. Strangely we've always known about, but never visited Waterkloof. What a BIG MISTAKE. This place is next level amazing. In beauty, sustainable farming and delicious wines. Wow. Immediately joined the wine club and made a restaurant booking. It should be on everybody's MUST DO list!
