I joined a one-day tour to Hitachi Seaside Park and Ashikaga Flower Park, the premium outlet is part of the tour.
Like any other premium malls in Japan, it has mostly international American brands like Coach, Michael Kor's, Columbia, Gap, Timberland, etc. Many brands offered some very good discounts; in addition, tourists can get tax rebates if purchased above ¥10,000 in one receipt, with the proof of passport. So remember to bring your passport along if you are visiting as a tourist.
As it was a weekend, the mall was quite crowded. The mall is pet friendly and some shoppers bring their dogs with them for a stroll.

This place is out of the ordinary when the wisteria are in full bloom.We saw many fuji trees with purple and dazzling white flowers.Took many photos here.There are other types of flowers too including a patch of roses.There is a place to sit down in the open area and order snacks.There is a covered area selling food, tit bits and other goods.If you love flowers you must visit this place

最近の野菜、特に葉ものの値段の高さは異常。
おまけに作柄もいまいち。
そんなときここに来て小松菜を発見。
うちの近所ではひょろひょろのが袋にちょこっと入って２９０円。
ここでは最近見かけないほどの茎のしっかり太い、葉っぱも肉厚の小松菜が袋にぎっしり入って１８０円！！
９袋あった物をすべて買い占めてしまいました。
安いのもあるけど、これほどの出来の良い小松菜は今年初めて見たよ！
根菜類は切ってみなければわからないけど葉ものは一目瞭然。
ここで売ってる葉ものはかなり良いですよ！

I live only minutes from this temple, and get to walk by it every day. It's a beautiful structure, bright red with gold peaks that glow in the afternoon sun. The grounds are small but peaceful and well kept. If you arrive at the right time, you can listen to the chants and drums of the worshippers, something I find moving whenever I hear it.
This is a very famous temple, well-known across Japan even by people who have never been to Tochigi prefecture. It is said that prayers at Yakuyoke Daishi will help admonish bad luck. The temple is also located across the street from the Sano Tourist Association, perfect for picking up omiyage with Sanomaru, the cutest mascot in Japan! Also, there are several ramen shops nearby, another thing Sano is known for. When you leave the temple, turn left and walk a few hundred meters to Shimamura Fashion Center. Across the street is a great ramen shop I highly recommend after your visit to Soshuji.
Keep in mind, as with many temples and shrines in Japan, January is an extremely busy time to visit.

北関東自動車道の佐野田沼ICを降りてすぐの出流原弁天池を訪れました。日本の名水100選の一つとのことですが想像していたより小さな池です。確かに清らかな澄んだ水で、周りの樹々を池の鏡面に映し出して綺麗でした。池の右手の石段を上ると山腹一部岩肌に建つ磯山弁天堂があります。静かな雰囲気でお堂の正面回廊から田園風景を展望出来お薦めです。お堂は無人で最寄りのホテルフロントで御朱印を頂けるということでお願いした処、墨書は日付のみで本来墨書すべき「辯財天女」と「出流原辯財天」がなく明らかな手抜きと思いフロントの女性に質しましたが話が上手く伝わらず出発時間も迫っていたのであきらめました。折角の好印象の観光地だっただけに後味が悪く残念です。

いちご狩りの季節で朝から人が多かった。待合所の奥にジェラートのお店があり、今の季節、もちろん苺のジェラートが人気ですが、オーソドックスにミルクのジェラート250円とブルーベリーヨーグルトのジェラート300円を食べました。どちらもあっさりしていて美味しかったです。苺のジェラートをたのむとフレッシュの苺も添えてくれるようです。

出流原弁天池の山上に鎮座する磯山弁財天に登ってみました。
出流原弁天池の脇にある参道を進むと、真っ赤な山門が見えてきます。この山門の真ん中ぐらいに太鼓橋が架けられていて、いままで見たことない造りにちょっとびっくり。その山門をくぐると、白蛇と風穴と目線の上に聳える社殿が見えます。石段をトコトコ登っていくと右手に銭洗弁天もありました。そこから更に石段登って本殿着です。この社殿は真っ赤に染められて、目にも鮮やかです。山の中腹の崖に建っていて、鳥取の投げ入れ堂に通じるような造りです。また、本殿正面からは、町の景色が一望出来て良い長めでした。登りではありますが、距離はたいしてないので、登っての参拝をお勧めします。

さほど大きくない展示館で、これ！という目玉があるわけではありませんが、アンモナイトやウミユリ、ナウマンゾウなどけっこういろんな種類の化石を見ることができます。
駐車場も広いですし、館内は社会科見学でもなければ混雑もしませんので、子どもを連れて行っても疲れません。男の子向けですが、一度は行ってみてもよいでしょう。
