Winelicious Tours

Winelicious Tours provides local scenic tours in the Okanagan Valley, visiting popular wineries, enjoying tastings and optional vineyard lunch.

What a wonderful lady, Lyse was so accommodating giving our family reunion a flat rate for our group to experience the Naramata wine region in her 11passenger bus, with a delicious picnic and water provided, and a wonderful variety of stops to enjoy. She also kept a photo diary of the day for us. Knowledgable of not only the wines in the region, Lyse offered numerous recommendations for our time in Penticton, all of which turned out to be great!

Mission Hill Family Estate Winery

Welcome to Mission Hill Family Estate, situated in the heart of British Columbia's breathtaking Okanagan Valley wine country, one of the Pacific Northwest's undiscovered gems. Making great wines and providing a special place where people can enjoy them has been my dream and my life's work. Now, it's a reality, one that my family and I want to share with everyone who visits us high atop Mission Hill. We hope you'll think of our winery as a refuge from the hurried pace of daily life. We invite you to experience the nature and art of winemaking by walking our lush on-site vineyards and visiting our underground cellars. Sample fine wines by the glass, marvel at the vista and reflect on a process that's almost as old as time itself. We look forward to welcoming you at Mission Hill Family Estate. A new experience with Mission Hill Winery. They are offering a CULINARY CLASSICS PROGRAM. We had booked ourselves into Simply Seafood course. What a most enjoyable and educational experience. The head chef was entertaining and provided some great insights into the preparation of seafood. Each course was accompanied by a specific wine pairing. We came away sufficiently satisfied to enrolled in a few more. A wonderful winter evening. Would be a great group experience or just lovely for two.

Unfortuantely when we stopped to the falls today the trail was taped off and closed due to hazards on the trail, so we did not get to see the falls ?

Napa North Wine Tours

Explore Okanagan Wineries. Wine Tasting Tours are so much FUN with Napa Nancy. Indulge in multiple wine tastings. . . sip back, relax & enjoy the ride. 12 passenger touring van w/pop up & drop down TV/Wine videos. Vineyard Lunch & Dinner Tour Packages, or full out "wine only" Tasting Tours. Groups large or small-explore Westside Wine Trail, the Bottleneck Drive, Naramata Bench or others.

Reviewed By FilmEatDive - Los Angeles, California

Wine tasting is not easy when your guide and their van smell like cigarettes. Nancy disappeared often and came back smelling worse and worse each time. Ruins any day of wine tasting. If I owned a winery I would not allow someone who smells that way into my tasting room. This being said, she seems like a nice and fun lady. If you are not a serious wine drinker and you just want to get wasted on cheap, bad wine with your girlfriends, then I guess this is the way to go. But luxury/informative/quality wine tour this is not.

This is how the back country of the Okanagan should be seen. The only downfall we only got to do this for 2 hours, we wish we had more time to spend up there, could have done this all day with the kids. The tour and guide were phenomenal.
Thanks again.

Gallery 97

Reviewed By CathyV63 - Ottawa, Canada

We had a great shop at Gallery 97 and highly recommend it as a stop. Just watch out as it is easy to miss on Highway 97 as you drive from Peachland to Summerland. It is on the west side of the road (Okanagan lake is on the east side). We bought adorable pottery mice, fused glass bugs and delightful concrete quails. We were limited because we were flying home. Otherwise, some beautiful paintings would have left with me, too. This place is run by the artists for the local artist community and all the work is juried. Quality work and lovely eye candy. The service was also warm, knowledgable and attentive. We will be back!

Hainle Vineyards and Deep Creek Wine Estate

The only certified organic winery in the Okanagan Valley.

Impressive. The fact that everyone that works there is super awesome, the fact that they've won like every international award ever, their 850 year winemaking history or the fact that they are the first organic vineyard in Canada, 20 years before organic certification even existed. Highly recommended.

Our story goes back a long way. Over a hundred years and five generations in fact. From running cattle to fruit growing, our family's experience and love for agriculture has remained strong. We've learnt a few things along the way; paramount being conservation. Being stewards of the land which has provided for so many, for so long, is a task we take seriously. Come visit our straw bale wine shop.

Yay finally a day without all the smokey skies. We decided to take advantage of this by visiting off The Grid Winery. Just a little background the house was built to be totally self sustaining meaning solar energy. Bales of hay used as the foundation...MoreWell first off lets thank mother nature and the firefighters for allowing the view to come back. We are really excited to have had the opportunity to share our property and ideas on sustainability with you. Thanks for the 6 star review ;-)

Parrot Island - Exotic Bird Sanctuary

First, loving animals is helpful, and I say this because it might help you uunderstsnd the zeal and committment of the man who owns this place. He has you listen/watch a short video before you go in...and it really helps to pay attention .
He tells kids how important it is to take care of these wonderful parrots, most importantly, leave the birds in their Natural homes.
The birds are beautiful and their stories are sad. It was a heartening to know people like this guy exisit to help. I was really touched by his love for these birds.
