Great reserve much larger than expected we went in May so very quiet, large beautiful unspoilt sandy Beaches, car almost drives up to beach through lovely Forests and lakes. A great day out, only issue there were no toilets.

Spiaggia Cala Ginepro e Sa Curcurica

I came here with my fiance, family, and friends for a whole day relaxing. This beach has a couple serving bars and other water/beach equipment for rental. It does get very crowded maybe half a meter to the next person. If you plan to spend the whole day here with a large group then you need to book ahead for a private table and arrive early 7-8am. The beach is beautiful and the water as clear as can be!

Cala Liberotto

Reviewed By chocdikrab - Frankfurt, Germany

we arrived at cala liberotto in the late morningtime and were astonished that no many people were arround, because we heard that the beach is high frequentated during high season. the beach has more different small beach sections, which are separated from each other by beautiful red rock formations and cliffs. these areas are perfect for norkeling and the offer of mediterrian underwater wild is very various. watershoes are necessary, because the rocks are slippery and sometimes sharp-edged. further sea urchines are located there.
the beach itself is sandy and slopes gently to the sea and so cala liberotto is very nice for families with small children. the water is crystalclear and presentes all shades of blue and green. there are nearly no waves, because the beach sections are protected by the red cliffs around.
further there are no shadowzones on the beach and it is absolutely necessary to have an umbrella and sun protection in your beach luggage.
because some shops and minimarkets are located near the parking area it is not absolutely necessary to bring food and drinks, but about the prices in these shops we cannot give any information.
a Beach Bar we didn´t saw on cala liberotto, a toilette we missed also.
we can recomment cala liberotto very much. we had a perfect stay there in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.

Osalla Beach

Reviewed By chocdikrab - Frankfurt, Germany

osalla beach, located in the south of the village orosei is well signposted and in relation to the other Beaches in the gulf of orosei very untypical. the landscape behind the beach has absolutely nothing to do with the rough steepcoast, which was built by nature behind the most of the other breathtaking Beaches a little bit more far in the south. also the surrounding is not so spectacular. behind the beach some maccia and small trees are growing.
the fine sandy beach is near a port and a big harbor wall is close to the beach, but the water is crystalclear, shallow and shines in different types of blue. for families with small children the beach is okay and a small restaurant offers drinks and simple food for the customers.
further osalla beach is one of the three Beaches, which are reachable by car from cala gonone and orosei. other ones are spiaggia di cartoe not far away and cala fuili in the south of cala gonone on the other side of the mountain. so a visite is not so expensive like on the other Beaches, which are only reachable by boat.
we stayed at osalla beach for an lazy afternoon with a good book and some expresso at the restaurant and it was okay.

Spiaggia Sas Linnas Siccas

Reviewed By Neillperobb - London, United Kingdom

Great beach to go to when it's windy! It's a small cove with lovely calm, clear blue waters and despite it being small, it's not too busy as it's not much known about with other tourists. There are no sun loungers to hire, but there is a restaurant just off the beach called Da Bao which is really very good, clean, friendly and not very expensive!

We tried several times to visit this Museo and it was always shut. We asked at the Tourist Information Office NB not a very user friendly lady, and we told that it opened on Thursday afternoon (we were out on a boat trip) and Friday PM (we had left Orosei by then) It's well signed posted and lots of posters, but not very accessible.
