Yokohama Negishi Forest Park

Me and my family went to Negishi Shinrin park during sakura season. The park was surrounded by these beautiful sakura trees. We brought our own food and had a picnic there. There are also vendo machine and food shops nearby. There was also a playground in the area which my kids really enjoyed. Very good and relaxing view from the top of the hill. Nice place to have walk or jog specially in the early morning. One interesting fact is that this was once a horse race track. On some Sundays, there are horse and pony ride with a minimal fee. Please try to visit and I am sure you will have a relaxing time. Imagine green all around you!!!

Yokohama Chinatown

Reviewed By neilwJ2510MB - Mirfield, United Kingdom

Yokohama is a beautiful city only about 35 minutes from the centre of Tokyo, and no stay in this lovely city would be complete without a visit to Yokohama's Chinatown, probably the biggest Chinatown area in all of greater Tokyo if not Japan. It is a delight to walk the streets with traditional Chinese shops with plenty of street food along with numerous temples and other places of interest. A must visit place and only a stones throw from Motomachi and some really excellent shops.
