I discovered Denton on this website. He made our vacation for me. In our first two days with high we saw the Jamaica that others never see. From an ancient sugar mill to the Mountains, the Pelican Bar to Lovers Leap Denton knows all the places that real Jamaicans live. Then we spent our last day visiting with him and his family. Good food, good people; an experience we will not easily forget. I highly recommend Denton if you desire to visit the tourist attractions or the real Jamaica.

I've used Clive's on two previous trips to Jamaica, always having a great drivers and on-time service. Unfortunately, on our recent 3rd trip, we had a terrible experience on both the arrival and return to MBJ Airport.
Arrival: As always, we met the Clive's representative at the airport right away, grabbed our Red Stripes and waited for our driver. My husband and I were loaded into the van and were ready to leave but our driver apparently needed to finish a conversation he was having with a driver in another car. Annoying and unprofessional I thought but it wasn't long before we were on our way. I wouldn't have even given this issue another thought if the remainder of the service hadn't gone the way that it did. The day before we arrived in Jamaica, I sent to Clive's the driving directions for the villa my husband and I were staying in near Ocho Rios. However, as the driver left the airport, it was clear that he had not been given the directions. Fine, I understand that drivers are not necessarily pre-assigned so I told our driver to keep heading toward Ochi and I'd provide the directions as we drove. Throughout the drive, I had to reiterate repeatedly what we'd pass before reaching the villa (Falmouth, Runaway Bay, etc...). I don't know if the driver wasn't listening or if because we were not going to a well-known resort that he just didn't trust what I was telling him - in any case, the driver was tense. Then he stopped at a gas station, claiming that he needed to get more gas because of the "unexpected driving situation". Totally unprofessional. Never at any point were we going in the wrong direction and we made no other stops so I don't know what the "unexpected situation" was. I felt like he was passing some kind of blame onto us, which I found a little insulting. We eventually made it to the villa and I assumed that whole drive would be an unfortunate thing that we'd just move past. And we would have done that if our driver for the trip back to MBJ had actually shown up.
Departure: I scheduled a pick up at 9:30 AM for a 2:00 PM flight. This pick up time was reconfirmed by Clive's two days prior. At 9:39, no driver yet. At 9:45, the manager of my villa called Clive's and no one picked up the phone. At 9:50, I emailed Clives and received no reply (still haven't, in fact). Between 10 and 10:15, the villa manager had to call several times to get an update (someone eventually did pick up one of the Clive's lines). Ultimately, Clive's called a nearby resort to send a driver for us and he eventually arrived close to 10:30 AM - nearly one hour after our scheduled pick up. Fortunately, that driver was very professional and he got us to the airport in good time.
Two days later, I still have not received an apology from Clive's nor an offer to make up their error to us on our next trip. It's just as well because all trust for this company has been broken. A no-show on the departure - particularly when it has been reconfirmed by Clive's directly - is inexcusable. I cannot use Clive's again nor could I recommend them to anyone else in the future.

My brother and I were here last month and swam with Miguel the dolphin and another dolphin....wow what an experience! The trainers made it so light hearted and fun and it seemed that all of the animals were really taken care of. The only thing i would criticise is the cost of the photos but we bought them anyway. I would definitely return

Zentopia is a beautiful spa in its own building in the Grand Palladium and Lady Hamilton Resort. Very well maintained and offers all the amenities a well run spa usually has such as a hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, massage facilities and other treatments typical to spas. Lovely setting with Fountains and Romanesque statues all over! A well equipped exercise room is at the same location for folks who want to shed a few pounds or maintain their shape! Staff is courteous and very professional. I had a full body massage by a RMT - felt so good after! Both Male and Female masseuse are available. Representatives of Spa on Resort grounds offer discounted rates - so ASK for discounts before booking! Well worth a visit. Shuttles from the lobby run regularly.

We booked a private car through our tour company, and Lloyd was who was waiting for us at the airport. He drove us from Montego bay to our resort in White House, about an hour and 15 minute drive. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and a good driver! On our way back to the airport, his wife, Carol, was our driver. She was also great, very nice and knowledgeable. We chatted with her pretty much the whole ride there! Both of their cars were clean and nice. Next time we come to Jamaica, we will book directly with them. Highly recommend!

Was dreading going on this do ride at Home but not much husband booked as a late bday present took my daughter who 15 got picked up 10 min bus ride Then put our stuff in locker 5 dollar charger which is fine and off we went Staff pick horse for you and go round First getting used to him/Her Then off you go lovely ride Guide looks after 4 ppl so stays near Tells u all about places history ect come back to stables and horses get a rest while u change to swimwear grab a drink Then go and get back on in to water go round in water twice on groups of 6/8 Man takes photos of you Then its back to change and wait for bus sell drinks and food we took our own wish we took more drinks Didnt buy photos 45 dollars for 10 think you can order them after Great fun nice seeing real Jamaica

Myself and 3 others use the president during our time in Jamaica they were great and very helpful ..went to a local bar the driver came with us to make sure we got back to the resort,had a awesome time..we used the president several times during our 7 day stay and each time was great..thanks again...see you next year
