Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos

My partner and I decided to make the most of the cloudy weather forecast by following the Seven Hanging Valley trail and were pleasantly surprised by the views and the change in weather. The winds along the coast disguise the suns rays so it’s important to have sun cream, plenty of water and take mini breaks/ snacks. In total it took 4 hours one way (including plenty of stops for photos along the way). We took the main roads back which only took us an hour and a half. Something to bear in mind when setting off on this trail is stopping for food, by the time we got to Praia da Marinha around 14:00 most restaurants were closed and due to reopen at 18:00/18:30. Additional: Carvalho Beach was a quiet secluded spot whereas Benagil Beach was relatively busy offering boat tours around the caves along the coast (starting from 10:00).

Lady in Red - Galeria de Arte

A huge and unused storage space in the region’s biggest winery - an authentic industrial place where the smells of wine hover around. Nearly everything was left untouched, even the rough dark old walls, while the integration of a perfect infrastructure for a modern art gallery with a gigantic light system went ahead. The result: 3.000 m² breathtaking contrast of space. Looking forward meeting you!

Wonderful Sea cave with small beach in it and a hole in rooftop which lets the sun shine in and dives and fills the hole place in an amazing sphere. We took the boat trip to several caves but this one, the Benagil is my favorite. Don’t miss it, it’s a must ????

Loved this place. So many amazing sand sculptures. The animal ones are particularly good with so much detail. There is a play park and a bar selling food. Also a big sandpit which the kids loved playing in. Would recommend this place highly but only for a few hours. It’s not an all day thing.
