Nice new park with many features to enjoy it and have a nice time , a channel and boats to traverse it , amazing new buildings , great architecture! Plus the Korean style hotel , hall and restaurant ‘s mall for contrasting .......beautiful autumn foliage in brown , read , yellow. Also opposite you have a street full of restaurants one side and food court the other .

Brilliant park just between modern and traditional. You have plenty of modern sculptures around the park. Perfect for some yoga sessions or having a run. Bare in mind that winters in Incheon are quite cold and rough, plan a good protective clothing if you are planning to have a run.

i travelled here in the 2014 march and was mesmirised to see these minis of entire world attractions.
they have given a lot of thought in collating infor and selecting attactions from different countries and put together in a park well laid. the drab back is its in the open part and the wether decays are visible.
its very wonderful visit and i recommend when u are in soeul of Bucheon.
avoid snowy season and rainy days.
carry water its a long walk if see all in deatil.

An island that's themed similar to a theme park but much more relaxed and laid back. Great for a family stroll with many opportunities for photos.
It's kind of like a board walk where you have the ocean on one side and a strip of Korean restaurants and game-stalls on the other. The game stalls are mostly 'pop the balloons with darts' or 'shoot the targets with staple guns' and you can win large stuffed animals.
You can take the ferry there which is amazing in itself, as you can buy a bag of shrimp crackers for 2000 Won, and feed the seagulls. There are literally 50-100 of them following you and will snatch the crackers from your hand, it's amazing and very fun!

I chose to do the "free-style" relaxing 1 night/2days templestay in this temple. You can also do longer ones and more organised ones. The temple ground area is quite big and lies on a tree covered hill which is great for walks or quiet contemplation. The place is quite busy with visitors during the day, but quiets down after 6pm. I had a room with bathroom and hot shower to myself for which I paid 60'000 won.You sleep on the floor with various korean style mats. The vegetarian food I had in the canteen together with the with my interpreter and other employees of the temple. My guide/interpreter showed me briefly around and taught me the bowing ritual. In the morning I attended the 4-30 am chanting and bowing ceremony for half hour. Breakfast was at 6am. After that I was free to do what I wanted. At 9 am was a chat with a monk over tea. The temple can be reached via public bus transport from Seoul Sinchon. First you take bus M6117 to Gimpo transfer center then take bus 60-2 or bus 700 to Onsuri bus stop. You then need to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the temple grounds. On the way there are lots of cafes and tourist shops. Also inside the temple grounds is a cashpoint in case you need money !! It is quite a commercial place during the day, but also very beautiful and relaxing in the evening. I really enjoyed my stay here getting a tiny insight into temple life in Korea.

Freedom Park adjacent to Incheon Chinatown is an added powerful attraction to this area. The park was especially beautiful with flowers and trees during my visit in late April. In addition to the beautiful landscape and the view of Incheon harbor, the park also has Statue of General McArthur with a metal plate depicting the Incheon Landing which dramatically turned the tide of the battles around during Korean War. The park also has The Korea - U.S.A. Centennial Monument.
The harbor and the sea beyond are now peaceful. But you can imagine the dramatic scenes of landing ships and troops wading through the water facing fierce fire power of North Korean defenders!!
You can visit this beautiful and memorable park by 1-hour metro ride (Line # 1) from Seoul at nominal metro fare.
You can combine this park visit with walking tour of colorful and exotic Incheon Chinatown and delicious Chinese foods at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend visiting Freedom Park along with Incheon Chinatown.

We visited China Town on our walk to the Incheon Train Station from Jayu (Freedom) Park. The entrance to China Town from Jayu park, is located at the Confucius statue. We were interested in taking a photo of the Conficius statue as we had previously visited the Koryo Museum, located in North Korea, which was the site of the Confucius Academy in Korea. It was interesting on our visit there, that no statues of Confucius were on display. It is also interesting that the statue is placed on the border of the former Qing (Chinese)and Japanese settlements.
There is a pathway of stone lanterns that leads to Chinatown below the statue.A few gift shops, but mostly restaurants were seen. Quite a few statues, Chinese gates and bright decorations allow for many great photos.This area is easily visited from the airport. we took bus 306 to Don Incheon station, then a train to Incheon station. At the exit of Incheon station turn right and walk a few minutes to China Town. There is a tourist information center at the Incheon Train Station which is very helpful, and will provide walking maps of the area.

This park has several interesting areas of interest - Korean nature scenes, village life, beautiful flower Gardens and more. A look into Korean life of years gone-by as can be seen from the typical building architecture of the time that are located in this park. Nice park to visit but may be boring to some.
