I love to visit this church and have done so for the past ten years. It has a very special atmosphere indeed. There are a lot of votive ships hanging from the ceiling, also some old carved stones set in the floor which are interesting. It is in a lovley village of Sonderho where you can immerse yourselves in cobble street and thatched buildings. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a Nice little museum where you can see both international Exhibitions as Well as local art. Its not very big but the staff are friendly and its a Nice place to get out of the wind ?

Over the past ten years of visiting the mill I have seen it being renovated. It is a great place to visit. You can go inside and climb the stairs, I have never made it to the top as I don't like heights. Nice view of around Sonderho from ground level at the mill. It's well worth the visit maybe take lunch and sit and watch the butterflies go by in surrounding meadow type grass. It's a stones throw from Sonderho where you can get refreshments in the local bars etc.

If you visit Fanø in the sommer don't forget to visit this church. In the sommermonths there are sommerconcerts with fine classical music. If you look up you see models of old ships that reflects the sailing-history of Fanø. Beautiful and charming.

Et naturskønt område og med god forklaring på, hvordan en fuglekøje "virker" i form af oplysninger på store plancher.
Også sjovt at se udsigten fra tårnet.
Vi cyklede dertil, og det er også en oplevelse i sig selv.

Det er et must at se "Hannes hus" i Sønderho . Jeg har været der flere gange, og oplevelsen er lige stor hver gang. Huset står indrettet meget smukt og autentisk,og det er interessant at se hvordan man boede før i tiden...og det er egentlig ikke så længe siden ! Vagten kan ofte fortælle lidt om huset og dets mennesker !

I cannot say enough about how helpful this office is. WiFi is available which allowed us to check our email, make Skype calls and catch up on things Internet. Since the signal extends outside we were even able to use the internet on the weekend. Even so they invited us in before opening hours.
They looked up and printed an itinerary of events happening in Nordby, many that could be booked through the Tourist Office.
