A really beautiful, interactive and unexpected nice surprinse situated in the city of Catanzaro. Amazing views of the city and the sea, beautiful outdoor art exhibition of local artists, it is the perfect place to enjoy the nature and learn about Mediterranean biodiversity.
Definitely must to when visiting Calabria.

Cascata del campanaro is only a 5' walk from the main road, through a thick wood. The water is very cold, but it is well worth getting wet under the charming waterfall

A quick look from below already entering the town reveals that is a particular work..a massive ark suspended on a high corridor wich from the Mountains of Sila dive down into Ionian Sea!Once his summit is reached we can enjoy a breathtaking view that reveals that as the historical downtown is a real Eagle's nest,a Castle perched in a great location and this bridge its amazing front door.

It's a mall w a grocery store. Nothing amazing. The good thing is that everything stays open, so atleast you can go anytime and the stores are open.

Bellissimo, sorto dov'era il vecchio teatro comunale, rappresenta a mio avviso il capolavoro di Portoghesi. Acustica eccellente, interni molto accoglienti, e soprattutto stagioni liriche degne di nota

Un buen ejemplo de que cualquier edificio puede ser reciclado, comenzo en el siglo XI como castillo feudal, luego transformado a Iglesia, convento, hospital, monasterio, hospicio, cuartel militar, carcel, etc... Hoy lo que se puede ver esta en buen estado, me encanto la doble escalinata de acceso a la iglesia, su interior es pequeño y sencillo de un raro color rosa.

Went to see the paintings by Andrea Cefaly and learned that the museum is dedicated to Calabrian artists. No English placards, but the museums permanent art collection starts in in the Middle Ages to contemporary modern day. Excellent juxtaposition of contemporary with the old. A must see!

Proprio dietro al palazzo municipale, è un vero è proprio parco urbano pensato e realizzato con progetto dagli architetti Andreotti, di origine toscana, che avevano lavorato nella città di Catanzaro, chiamati a dare un tocco di modernità nel periodo post-unitario. Detta villa Margherita perché inaugurata dalla regina di Savoia nel 1881. Conserva piante rare ed una fitta e lussureggiante vegetazione, con laghetti di cigni e suggestivi affacci sul paesaggio extraurbano. Nel tempo sono spariti alcuni elementi di arredo urbano che la caratterizzavano, come alcune statue e dei bellissimi sedili in terracotta. Lo stato di conservazione del luogo non è dei migliori.
