Very pleasant, somewhat elegant place with garden-terrace in the back, ideal in summer. High rating in guides (such as Gambero Rosso) well deserved, this is probably the best place in town and far beyond for fresh sea-food well prepared, perfectly cooked. All dishes we had were highly tasteful, for instance great fish-soup as a starter. Excellent value for money.

It's a small restaurant not far from the port, in vico Orfeo, behind an anonimous door!
when you find it, sit in the small room and be ready to taste original calabrese food.
Start with "Sardedda", spicy hot sauce on slices of country bread, shrimps, octopuses salad, "frittule" and cruditées. If you are still hungry try the risotto with sea food. Fish is fresh and well prepared. Final surprise, a fantastic home made cake and a free bitter!

Two meals in this romantic setting (eaten on the elevated terrace) are up there with some of our best meals we've ever eaten in southern Italy or Sicily. It deserves its Michelin star - delicious, inventive dishes, artistic presentations, perfect service. One can order alla carte or choose one of the two fixed prize menus. The only disappointment was the dessert the first night--dollops of bread, fig and chocolate sauce drizzles (2nd night's was better served as part of my husband's fixed price menu). Dessert is really unnecessary because at the end of the meal a complimentary plate of small dolci is complimentary.

Here is the place where nature is mixed with love, peace and hospitality. If you want to reach the stars and touch the hills the only thing you have to do is take the risk and fly, drive, walk to Italy and spend your holiday.
The traditional food is all you wanted to be: natural, not so spicy and not so sweet, for all the tastes you can ever imagine!

My second cousin took us out to this restaurant and the service and food was excellent. All the dishes that came out looked fresh and presentation was immaculate. If you enjoy seafood this is the place to go. We were so full from the assortment of starters and pasta dishes that we did not need to order a main meal. The restaurant was very busy and all the staff were welcoming.

If you are keen to dine, authentically, the way locals do from Crotone go no further that MMs. It's al fresco dining at it's best with superb friendly service, a valuable for money menu that is flexible enough to accommodate most palates. The house wine is refreshingly light and tasty and for a few great hours one is able to imbibe and experience the typical Calabrian lifestyle with a primary focus on quality family time. A wonderful night out!

We ate here passing trough Crotone on a noon. We found it by accident, doing a walk in the historic city center.
We both had a pasta, I took the arrabiata, my wife the pasta with squid.
We both liked it very much, and the only disappointment we had was that this restaurant was too far from our hotel to come back for a full dinner.
Really to be recommanded!

Per il mio compleanno, nel mese di maggio, abbiamo scelto questo ristorante...ottima posizione, climatizzato, piccolo e accogliente, a gestione familiare. Ia proprietaria gentile, serve ai tavoli, mentre il marito, nonché, cuoco, prende anche le ordinazioni consigliando il menù del giorno. Gli antipasti squisiti e variegati...un primo ai ricci di mare sublime, per non parlare dei secondi. Il tutto accompagnato da un rosato locale. Consigliatissimo!!!

...that keeps it good and simple. You can only order two things. A portion of tomato and cheese pizza, or a fried calzone with sauce and cheese. Both come out continuously to feed the lineup. Make sure you take a number on the way in.
The calzone will be super hot, a little spicy, and may sqirt all over your shirt if you aren't careful. The pizza has a milder sauce and the base cracks in your teeth in the best possible way.
One euro for each. The drinks list is much longer.
The rating on Tripadvisor and the stickers from food award recognitions in the glass counter case were more than confirmed on my visit.
