Cala Millor Beach

Reviewed By GedJon1 - London, United Kingdom

Visited in Feb 2018 so not really able to enjoy the sea as the water too cold. However nice clean beach and plenty of space . Typical Spanish Promenade and worth a walk in any conditions. Should give a mention to the Spanish workers who were out every morning cleaning the paths and emptying all the bins. Probably not noticed by most

Club De Golf Son Servera

Reviewed By scottishgirl98 - Aberdeen

The Son Servera course is very picturesque, with a mixture of undulating and flatter holes as well as some nice water features. However, the play is dreadfully slow. We were held up on all but one hole. The martial stopped twice when we complained and said he would do something about it, but in actual fact was totally ineffective and the slow play continued. Players' speed of play should be better managed to ensure enjoyment rather than deep frustration! Sadly, should we return to Majorca then Son Servera will not be on our list of courses to play. Managing speed of play is a basic requirement of any course.

The Beach Bar Sillot 2017

Reviewed By Rob H - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

We decided to try this place after passing it a few nights previous on a walk along the sea front. The staff were so welcoming as we arrived & found a table for us. It was really busy but we didn't have to wait long to be served with our drinks & given a menu.
The food was amazing! My oldest tried the sizzling chicken pieces which we all had a piece of as the looked lovely. My youngest had a kids pizza, my partner had Gyros & I had chicken breast.
The meal was a bit more expensive than we'd been paying but this was due to the meal not just being 'pub food'.
Will definitely be visiting here next year!

Cala Morlanda

Reviewed By Jandave21 - Plymouth

Hired cycles to go here since it is a couple of miles from where we are staying. Was tipped off that this is fantastic for snorkelling. There's no beach, just several sets of steps cut into the side of cliff. Popular place for coasteering, scuba, snorkelling and cliff jumping. Also mainly local Mallorcan people there which made it especially nice. We went to snorkel and were not disappointed. Really good spot and safe out to as far as the yellow buoys at the entrance to the cove then it got a bit choppy. Saw lots of fish in including pipefish, hermit crabs and some good size shoals. Tip: bring plenty of water and water shoes.

My wife and I considered taking a horse and carriage ride to the Castillo but decided to stroll up to it instead. It is a nice walk, plenty of cats and horses to talk to on the way! But although the path is well trodden, it was a good bit more uneven than we expected, so we would recommend walkers wear good shoes.
Although the Castillo is just a single tower it is very interesting and the views from the roof are wonderful. There is also a nice cafe there with plenty of seats. There is also more cats and a parrot for the animal lovers among us.

Carlos our guide did a great job. He was not rushing, explained every cave and let us take pictures without a hurry.
We were a small group, altogether just 12 people! This caves are just amazing. All the different chambers have special names, which match to their impression. Almost breathtaking was the chamber "inferno". Here we listened to classical music while lights where changing. The most impressive caves we have seen so far.
