If you ever nerver have been to or walked through a street art in a central city, this is where you start. Go Borås and walk the full tour helped by the perfect map handed out at tourist information. Let yourself be guided around, make a stop for coffe and then keep going again. Its a nearly surreal experience and unique in its own way. Go see. Walk the mile.

A nice and big zoo with lots of Playgrounds, a perfect place to spend the day as a family. The animals seem well treated and there is a surprisingly large selection of different animals with public feedings. The restaurant has a nice lunch buffet, and there is even grilling places for those who want to bring their own food, as well as several small kiosks with ice cream, hot dogs, coffee etc
Entrance tickets are WAY overpriced and it seems everyone local just buys the "årskort" (year pass) and spends plenty of days just hanging there, but for the one time visitor a simple day out can come out way above 1500sek

This is the place to be if you are an adult who likes to experiment and learn new things about physics, chemistry, heat or just play with mechanical Lego.
Or if you have kids and for the 100 timed said No, don't touch. This is where you can let your kids touch and play with everything that comes in their way. Perfect activity where don't need to be the controlling adult.
I promise you some alone time or chill with the wifey after a full day at Navet science center. The kids will be sound asleep.

This art Museum exceeded every expectation! The staff was friendly, helpful, and were very happy to give a guided tour. This antique dealer thought he understood something about modern graphic..... Without exaggeration, something new was seen/learned and interpreted on each painting and graphic.
For anybody that is aware of 20th century art, every major name that I ever heard about was on display. Sometimes many many pieces.
The background of this Museum is extremely interesting. This was the headquarters and production facility of one of the major Swedish ladies underwear companies. The company's owner gave his an extremely important collection of art to a foundation so that other people can enjoy it.
Might be a little bit boring for young people, but for those who are interested in the theme. You will discover that two hours go by extremely quickly! Possibly better and more hands on than an introductory night school class or a weekend with one of the London's auction companies.
As an aside, there is a factory outlet/discount shop downstairs in the same complex offering the friendliest prices in Sweden for ladies underwear. Regrettably, the price for gentleman's shorts (even at the discount) was unrealistic.

Orangeriet is a beautiful building located in Stadsparken. You can eat food here, but I didn't think that the food was something special.

A warm welcome to Boras Tourist Office. We now almost everything about Boras. Stop by and say hi for information about the city, what to do here, where to eat and so on. We also sell tickets to the events in town.

You can do very much here. Get information about Borås, buy souvenirs, rent bikes, buy tickets for example Basket or soccer. The staff isn't very service minded and they should be since tourists comes here.

Roligt att besöka och riktigt bra personal! Men det är lite litet tycker jag. Men bra att kombinera med Borås Djurpark som ligger jämte.
