I was watching the restoration for years, when I was visiting the Cunda island. Today I had the chance to enter and see the restorated church. I think the restoration was good. But as far as I know, because of some bureaucratic issues, they couldn't restore it as a church, but presented it as a museum. It has become an industrial museum with small steam engines, old cars etc. in it which are to my opinion not related to a religious place. But most importantly, the restoration of the building and paintings were very nicely done.

We remember all old days of this church years ago and now to see its final status after the renovation carried out by Koç Family,is something else.Very well done and maintained building.Loved it very much.Strongly recommended to pay a visit to this important spot if you are in this area for any reason.

You can either rent a house starting from 20USD/day or stay at the beach hotel 40USD/day per room. There are several Beaches that you can take good service for food and beverages with reasonable prices. People are friendly , the crowd is a mix of families and couples without children. You will love the sea with crystal clear water and gold color sand. All you need is your slippers, bikinis or shorts... Lastly you can find sea attractions on the beach such as jet ski ,banana etccc

A short drive from Ayvalik up the hill and we came to this place. The views from the top were very pretty. Unfortunately, a big storm was about to start at that time, thunder, lightnings here and there, so we quickly took pictures and left.:))) there are different restaurants, cafes, should be nice to sit there and then walk around more in a good weather.

Just in the heart of Ayvalık,this magnificent church had been constructed early 1870 and then converted to the mosque.Very good to see it as it has also a nice garden.Strongly recommended to pay a visit to this Mosque in the centre if you are touring Ayvalık for any reason during any time of the year.

This is a nice market where you can find everything as second hand sale. You can also see some Greeks coming from Mytiline island to shop here. Strongly recommended for mostly ladies as they are more interested in this category products.
