Sat in on a Latin mass which is not usually my thing but found it lovely and the benches contained a lot of worshippers. Fantastic frescos and wonderful stained glass windows.

You can't miss it. It's only R$20 a head. A coherent environmental and landscaping project that is on a par with the best Gardens around the world. Seven km of winding footpaths where you can gaze at luxuriant nature and breathtaking landscape. Everything is absolutely well cared for, all plants are clearly identified. There are benches all around. There's a place for outdoor events (e.g. weddings) and a ballroom. The place is so innovative that you can't buy a bottle of mineral water. That's just garbage. You get free cold water from water Fountains. Brilliant! You are allowed to step on the grass and it feels great to lie down for a nap in the shade of a glorious tree right after lunch. And there are no trash cans either. You're supposed to be accountable for your own garbage.
Toilets are sparking clean.
There's an affordable buffet style restaurant serving homemade food and a fancy a-la-carte restaurant. There's a souvenir shop. Service is friendly and welcoming. You can get juices, soda and a cold beer if you like.
Best way to get there by plane is to fly to Viracopos (Campinas city) airport, rent a car and drive 40 min to the town of Nova Odessa. There's not much to do in town, so take your time and just spend the whole day at the Plantarum Institute.
The place reminds me of the Gardens in New Zealand.
Worth every minute. You can't miss it!

A park like this is very rarely found in Brazil, especially in a city this size. It features a beautiful lake, with some animals, quiosks, benches, playground. And it is perfect for running/jogging/walking because, apart from the pleasant atmosphere, the tracks are not pavimented, resulting a much more comfortable surface.

I've been there because the weather was not good to go to the beach, and I've already visit most of the best attraction in Rio. It's a calm and nice place. You have to pay to get in

Com boa localização na região central, o teatro é pequeno, porem confortável e com boa acústica, o que faz toda a diferença em shows e apresentações. A programação é variada e atende muito,bem por ser cidade do interior.

This really is a great place to visit if you are in the Americana area. There is no charge to get into the zoo which makes it even better. There were plenty or animals to see and they were active and entertaining. It looked like they were all in good condition and being taken care of. The only reason I did not give this a score of 5 is because the zoo itself could have been a bit cleaner. The upkeep of the walkways and paths were a bit dirty with a lot of food wrappers, etc... on the ground. It seems like a very busy place so I can understand why it could be hard to keep up with on busy days. Don't forget to grab a snack from the many vendors on your way in or out of the zoo! I will absolutely be visiting again!

Yep its a mall. That is all. It has paid secured parking which is nice. There is a movie theatre, but there a lot of movies are overdubbed instead of being in English with subtitles like most other theatres. You could spend a few hours max.
