Top 10 Things to do Good for Big Groups in Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt

August 15, 2021 Franklyn Hardiman

Traditional attitudes prevail in the historic Sinai region on Egypt's border with Israel. The triangular peninsula is divided from the rest of Egypt by the Suez Canal and the Red Sea. Craggy mountains, including 7500-foot Mount Sinai, plunge down to the waters of the Red Sea. Spectacular snorkeling and diving sites beckon from the Gulf of Aqaba to the east of the peninsula, particularly along the dramatic coastline of Na'ama Bay in Sharm el Sheikh. Camelback safaris offer distinctive desert excursions.

Csak ajánlani tudom! ———— We spend one day on a Giftun island within Orange Bay! Wonderful sea, white sandy part! 32 euro / person was the prize, it included a cruise for a snorkel and a rest for the island. I can only recommend!

An incredible experience where you feel the special energy in this place and Sinai Desert in general. It is absolutely magical! You immediately start to feel a sense of calmness and peace. The wonderful thing about it, all religions (Islam, Christianity, and Judaism) have in common that Mount Sinai was the place where prophet Moses received the 10 commands, which is why Mount Sinai is also referred as Mount Moses

Sharm El Naga

This 2 star resort has 5 star service. The amenities are what you expect for this type of place, but it more than makes up for it in positive attitude and excellent service from the staff. Meals are basic but really tasty. The snorkelling and diving is actually incredible; the house reef is well looked after and offers huge schools of fish, rays, and stunning coral. Recommended as an add on for a couple of days at the end of a liveaboard or similar trip. Don’t be dismayed by its remote location. It’s not fancy but delivers a cool experience.

Carless Reef

I have been diving Carless Reef since 1990. It has always been an amazing dive spot. It is also a very important place for scientific research since it was completely eaten alive in 1995 by the Crown Of Thorns Star Fish. and has now re-grown to amazing abundance as it used to be. Carless reef proves how resilient the red Sea corals are and how fast they can re grow.
