Blue Sheep Craft Shop

Sells organic coffee, tea and homemade ice cream, as well as unique handicrafts made by China's minority ethnic groups. A welcoming and cosy environment situated near Chengdu's fascinating Tibetan Quarter.

What I love about Dr. Ray's Blue Sheep is that it is much more than a retail store. It's a place that promotes the arts and artists while helping others. It's an inviting place where you can have a coffee and a real conversation. It's a place where you leave feeling you've become a part of a much bigger altruistic world.

Shu Feng Ya Yun Sichuan Opera

Reviewed By julieo63 - Pokolbin, Australia

My girlfriend & I attended the Shufengyayun Theatre Opera after a long day of sightseeing. Our VIP tickets were organised by our guide Daniel from “Tours by Locals” and we had front row seats, amazing. We had enough time to both have a quick shoulder massage before the show began. The show was in many parts and included -traditional music & singing, acrobats, shadow play, puppet play, face & costume changing and two skits, one of which I couldn’t understand. I loved the second skit even though I couldn’t understand it. We had Chinese tea which wasn’t to my taste and some snacks were on a table between us. The show went from 8-9:30. It was an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend the VIP package.

Jinsha Site Museum

Reviewed By ggm96822 - Honolulu, United States

A wonderful island of calm, with the ebony forest, bamboo grove, waterscape and stone path all unexpected treats in addition to the very well explained archaeology site - some of the best English explanatory signs that I have seen anywhere. (I also liked the "No Striding" signs to keep people from stepping over the handrails. Both the housing and the relic display building are very well designed, the collection is displayed very attractively.
