Reviewed By cop7The hotel stay off side a bit, very quiet location. Especially at night time, it is nothing around. All the staffs are very nice, they will provide help to everything. They provided bicycles to ride around. Son River house just stay right on the river, very quiet and romantic. The air quality super fresh. Their rooms kind of big and comfortable. Ms. Lucy help us arrange all the tours. Willing to recommend to any like to stay quiet and romantic. You need to reserve your dinner a day before if you like to enjoy local foods. Very fresh and delicious.

Great Value and Staff for a Budget Hotel
Reviewed By Peter LThis simple hotel has everything you need during a stop in Phong nha to explore caves or other activities. The hotel is quite new so everything is in good shape. Our room was large with 2 Queen beds and a large bathroom. Note there are 3 floors and no elevator. The WiFi worked very well in the lobby and the 3rd floor room. Fast enough to stream movies on youtube. A simple breakfast was included. Laundry is available onsite for a low charge as is motorbike rental (100,000 dong per day or $4/day). They also arranged a driver for us from the Dong Hoi train station (40 min) for 500,000 dong ($20) and allowed us to pay for everything (motorbike, car transport etc) with a Visa upon checkout. Very convenient. Sights in the area include the "Duck Stop" which is good fun. For 50,000 dong ($2) you can hand feed a group of hungry Ducks. Good fun. Paradise cave is also a 30 minute motorbike ride away. A beautiful and huge cave. The hotel has a Vietnamese menu including Hot Pot. Just down the street the Bamboo Cafe has excellent food and choices. The only improvement I can suggest is the water pressure in the shower. It was very weak on the 3rd floor.

Ms Van was the perfect host!
Reviewed By KristyLikesSnowThe staff were incredible, before our arrival we contacted them and asked Ms Van to book us a taxi from the train station and there was a car waiting for us with a name plaque - it was one of the staff members of the homestay! He offered us cold water bottles and drove us to the homestay, pointing out attractions and the mountains of Phong Na on the way. At the homestay, we were offered a seat straight away, given a brochure of the tour and checked-in. They put up balloons in our room for our arrival because I mentioned we're both celebrating our birthdays, they drove us into town on their motorbikes free of charge, so we could go for a wander and explore the street food places, they drove us back late at night as well, they gave us a wee birthday gift of long socks for our tour to the Elephant cave the next day - it was the one thing we didn't find in town! Perfect service! P.S. There were some bugs in our room, so it was a bit hard to get to sleep, but that's completely understandable because of the area we were in. No marks lost due to that.

The rooms were good and the staff gave us tips on how to enjoy the Phong Nha area the best way! Don't hesitate to stay here. We had a very good stay for a very low price!

Reviewed By emi-zoliNagyon olcsó nagyon rossz minőségű hostel. Piszkos wc/fürdő. A falon furcsa bogarak élnek. Egyetlen előnye, hogy gyalog pár percre van a vasútállomás. A városban van egy pláza, oda taxival mentünk be, ami olcsó volt. A pláza mellett van egy piac is.
