Loved the modern design, great location right on the beach, excellent restaurant and amazing friendly helpful staff. The layout of the hotel is well thought out, not overcrowded and not overlooking each other. Just along the beach from the genuine Cafe Del Mar - great for party-goers but far enough away that there is no noise disturbance. Also a good selection of local restaurants and a few shops about 10 mins walk along the beach. Highly recommend and we really hope to come back some day!

The Viridian Resort, is located at the heart of Patong Beach, Phuket. We offer a sanctuary, from the bustle of yet still being within 5 minutes walk from both the Patong Beach and Bangla Road. In keeping with our strong belief in moving towards a more ecologically sustainable tourism/hospitality industry practice and prioritising local produce and suppliers; we also are one of the only remaining resorts in Patong Beach which is built around a lush tropical garden, preserving much of the natural floras which was here before any resort ever came to this area. We aim to be you resting stop between you excursions and explorations of this truly unique island. A convenient, quiet and comfortable place to rest before you embark on you discoveries. As you check-in, we hope you would join our little resort family, and provide you a personal, unique and hopefully memorable experience.
Little tropical Gem amidst hustle of patong beach
Reviewed By VickilxWe stayed for three weeks with a short break away to phi phi mid stay. Two adults & our 13yr old daughter. The gardens are stunning and a rare find in the busy bustling area of patong beach. It is an escape from the intense sales pitch and traffic which you hear nothing of on entering viridian. It’s a small resort which we liked as felt less like crammed sardines in boxes in high rise hotels ( something we wanted to avoid) The hotel staff always had a smile and were courteous and polite. The place is such a gem and staff fully accommodating that whenever small issues arose they were rectified quickly e.g on a few occasions our safe died and wouldn’t open ( it was replaced then the second had a fault ( realised prob due to the electronic battery compartment being taped so the batteries had moved) this is Thailand!)the handy man was very fast to sort these things. Another observation was as guest numbers reduced so did the quality of breakfast ( having read reviews about poor breakfasts I was blown away by the opposite experience & thought it adequate and satisfactory, I asked for bacon to which it was provided and the girls made eggs to order also. There was fresh melon toasts and croissants too and Asian options. As it got quieter however with less guests the options reduced,less juice choice, and items unavailable which I thought a shame. I have to say I did email the manager though and he was so apologetic and accommodating, on our last day we had an early departure and they made breakfasts boxed for us all ready. Apechet had also gone to the trouble of warming croissants & bacon for us. He was open to our feedback and as stated it is a lovely resort that just needs that bit more TLC to ensure it’s beauty isn’t lost. The rooms are spacious cleaned thoroughly daily with fresh towels and bottled water.the shower always hot with great flow. The location is just perfect with easy distance to the beach and shopping centre, and access to Banzaan market of a night time. It suited us all and I would recommend. Thankyou to all the hardworking staff who dedicate themselves , hope the hotel is loved enough to realise how special it can be. Additional suggestion also other than general maintenance and painting, would be poolside drinks & snack provision Overall we would return, Thankyou.

We are located in a very quiet walking street right in the middle of the Royal Paradise complex, Patong's gay area.Just 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the main shopping centers,cinemas and bowling center. Only 30 meters away from Patong's gay nightlife.Aquarius offers an "all under one roof concept" including a guesthouse with 30 rooms and luxury suites for everybody's budget, a sauna, a fitness center, massage services for men by men and a quiet hassle-free bar.

Reviewed By rchrdrmmlrToday we visited the Sauna at Aquarius Guesthouse. And what should we say... it’s a dirty sinkhole. The jacuzzi was very dirty and it smelled everywhere like piss. 260 Baht entrance for guest who are not staying in the guesthouse. This is to expensive for this creepy thing. Okay... it includes 2 two towels and you can stay there as long as you want. But that’s no excuse for this price. We don’t recommend this Sauna at all. If you want to be shocked you are very welcome to “enjoy” this sauna

A small cute property with a beautiful view of the sea
Reviewed By travellerbang2015The property is located right on a spectacular beach. The view is great and the beach was not crowded. The rooms are big, comfortable and tastefully done. Its a small no-frills property and you don`t get much except the nice room and the beach. Few things broken here and there, but no big deal for us. The hotel does not have a restaurant or offer room service and there aren`t many restaurants and shops nearby.(The only restaurant nearby this is a rip off). So, go there well stocked-up or be prepared to go to Patong every time which is a few kilometers away. Overall we enjoyed the stay.
