Great location, nice hotel!
Reviewed By zimmyzimmyNice hotel located on the shore of the lake, with a very nice swimming beach. Rooms are basic and VERY, VERY clean. Restaurant has a very nice buffet dinner and good variety buffet breakfast. Within walking distance of the town.

Reviewed By ellcarDetta härliga krypin ligger högt beläget och utsikten är därav fantastisk. Vi möttes, vid sen ankomst, upp av en mycket trevlig ägare och möttes av en annan vänlig ägare vid en god frukost. Boendet rekommenderas! Det är promenadavstånd till Sälen, som kanske inte erbjuder så mycket aktivitet en kväll i juli, och det krävs bil till Lindvallen som möjligen erbjuder desto mer.

Very nice place to stay close to the forest near the center of Leksand
Reviewed By DavvebieggaI spent 3 nights in a nice affordable room in the building Målargården in late February. It's a lovely and quite place close near the river and the forest, but still not too far away from the center of Leksand. My room had a private bathroom with toilet and shower and there's a common area with kitchen and dining room in the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely choose this place again.

Splendid and peaceful retreat
Reviewed By silviastonesWe stayed at this B&B for a week in July for our family holiday and we enjoyed everything about it! The Dalälven river runs at the bottom of the beautiful garden where you can swim or fish. In the large garden there are many berry bushes which fruits are served each morning at the delicious breakfast: the lady who owns the B&B lays out a tasty breakfast giving fresh produce going the extra mile! You must taste the homemade omelette cooked with eggs from the chickens which roam freely around the grounds and mushrooms from the surrounding forest picked daily by the expert owner. The owner is really welcoming, friendly and wants you to have a great stay! The B&B itself is also brilliant: such comfortable beds and pillows! The house is in traditional Swedish style and furnished with many art pieces. There is also an indoor swimming pool which is perfect too. Even though the B&B could appear isolated there is actually so much to visit around in the Dalarna region and with a easy distance from Stockholm. My husband and I and our two teenage girls loved it and would definitely recommend it!

Bokat för privat fest

De som inte ger 5 stjärnor är boendet- bodde i sviten och jag och sambon saknade samma trevliga och mysiga atmosfär i den sk sviten som i de allmänna ytorna . Detta var helt vanligt rum om något större ,svitkänslan fanns inte den där lite lyxiga saknades det kostade ju ändå 1400:-/ natt så lite extra kanske man kan begära . Som tex en välkomnande skål med frukt lite choklad en blomma i nått fönster - glas å en karaff för vatten , ljus i ljusstakarna shampoo duchcreme kanske en eld i den vackra kaminen som finns i rummet:) Sängarna var magiskt sköna och utsikten magnifik. Jag och min sambo rekommenderar detta boende varmt med den så fina hjärtliga ägarna som visar sådan gästvänlighet ? vi kommer igen☀️

Skamlig mat serverades
Reviewed By Björn GMitt omdöme gäller restaurangen. Vi beställde dagens rätt som var köttbullar o fiskgratäng o fick mat som var skamligt dålig. Potatisen var seg o smaklös, gratängen helt oätlig medan köttbullarna gick att äta men inte ok. Vidrig mat som serveras helt utan stolthet. I övrigt tomt i restaurangen o gott om ytor. Helt ok bemötande.
